Working with Jorge was a game changer for both us as dog parents, and for our two-year old rescue pup (pitty-mix). As long time dog owners we thought we were doing everything right to calm our stranger-reactive pup. Turns out some of our approaches were actually making it worse. Jorge introduced us to games and skill-building exercises that have already made a huge difference resulting in a happier, calmer, and much less reactive dog. Our pup looks forward to the enrichment exercises, that are simple and easily incorporated into our daily routine. Walks have become enjoyable, barking is minimal, and when people drop by the house our dog is so much more confident and ready to show off her new skills!

Jorge has been tremendous! We adopted a three year old shih-tzu rescue who was highly reactive. She would bark at anyone and anything, would charge both other people and dogs (fear based) and had a mind of her own. Under Jorge's supervision, she has made tremendous strides, showing significant improvement in all areas. Walking her is no longer a challenge, her barking has decreased significantly, and she is more trusting of other humans. She has even made her first dog friend! I know we could not have done all this without Jorge. Besides being a great trainer, he's a wonderful guy to work with - down to earth, friendly, nonjudgmental. He also has a great sense of humor. I would recommend Jorge without reservation for your dog training needs.

We would highly recommend Jorge for your dog training needs. Our rescue, Juno, had fear and anxiety issues, to the point that she didn't want to go on walks (we could only get a house or two away from our own before she would turn back and drag us home), and she was very stressed when guests came over, especially men. With lots of positive reinforcement, Jorge helped us build Juno's confidence. We know better how to acclimate her to new people, and she's slowly making progress on her walks, sometimes going as far as four blocks. Jorge has a way with dogs and was, on the first time we went for a walk with him, able to get Juno much farther down the block than we were able to. He has lots of great tips for helping with all kinds of fear and anxiety issues.

We've had a fantastic experience with Jorge training our 2-year old mixed breed rescue! He listened to our concerns, put together a great training plan, and gave us lots of suggestions and ideas to implement. We've learned a TON working with him and highly recommend him for any dog owners looking for help!

Jorge doesn’t just train a dog to sit and stay. He teaches good behavioral skills that can be applied to social settings beyond your own home. The exercises he taught our Great Pyrenees, Banks, were easy to learn and easy to replicate after the sessions were over. We saw a massive improvement in Banks’ demeanor. He’s not just well-behaved, he’s happier. Which makes us happier, too! Can’t recommend this place enough.
