Rented 70 Chivary chairs for a wedding, they requested that we pay a special delivery fee because we wanted to have them picked up at midnight after the event ended. The special delivery fee was nearly $200. The delivery was anything but special. They had told us they would let us know one hour prior to arrival but instead called us when they were at the venue. We had to have someone rush over to let them in. Then they called us at 11 pm after the event was done to let us know they would be late. We had to have someone stay behind and wait for them to show up but after it became 2 am. We decided to leave the chairs outside and they agreed to pick them up by themselves. We called to ask for a discount for these inconveniences but after a week of calling them for updates they said the manager could only do store credit. Extremely dissatisfied with their customer service and delivery. Additionally, they tried to charge us more for the delivery before we corrected them based on their previous quote. Lastly, we had originally also wanted to ask them for draping for the event. But, after three weeks of waiting for their manager to call us back and upload a quote. We decided it would be best if we did it ourselves. Administratively they are a disaster. Would not recommend.

We had such an amazing experience with DMV party rental specifically with Jasmin Everything was delivered on time, clean, and beautifully set up. The team was professional, friendly, and made the whole process stress-free. Our guests loved the setup, and it truly made the event unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to throw a perfect party

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE. I had the worst experience with DMV Party Rental for my wedding. I was supposed to receive my rental equipment 10am, they were not ready, they had a driver come all the way from Maryland to drop it off to the event location so late and once they got their they did not provide me with ANYTHING I ORDERED. They gave me the wrong color drapes, chairs were dirty, broken, & not the right chairs that were shown in the show room. They did not provide me with the right pipe and drapes. The lady on the phone kept saying “ sorry I don’t know I was on vacation I don’t know what is going on” These people are complete liars and scammers. I will fight for a refund, completely destroyed my vision for my wedding, once they realized that they messed up they gave me free pick up and drop off but that’s the LEAST they could of done. I went the next day to try to find someone to talk to and while there open sign was in no one was in the building , THEN after multiple attempts trying to reach them, the lady tells me they are close for the holiday.. so you’re telling me that you expected me to drop off the equipment the following day and you weren’t going to be open? Do not come here/ you’ll waste your time. There is so much more I could write but it wouldn’t even due it’s justice of how horrible these people who run this business are. I will fight for a refund and dispute these charges with my bank.

I had a terrible experience with DMV Party Rentals. I fully paid for tables, chairs, linens, and chafing dishes for an event. Despite receiving confirmation of payment and delivery, the items were never delivered. This caused major disruption to my event, unexpected out-of-pocket expenses, and wasted time. I contacted their office multiple times. A representative, Yesenia, initially promised to follow up with their drivers and get back to me—but no one ever did. After several attempts to explain that the company was clearly in the wrong, the representative (Yesenia) informed me that the owners were not willing to issue a refund for the undelivered items. Only after three attempts to resolve the matter did they agree to refund the money. However, I waited more than a week without receiving the refund—and without a single update or confirmation that it was being processed. Ultimately, I had no choice but to dispute the charge through my bank. I understand that experiences can vary, and I truly hope others have better luck. But if you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend choosing a more reliable rental company.

I want to thank this company for literally going above and beyond to make my son’s birthday party happen. I’m so grateful they were able to accommodate last-minute changes for our party. Everything was perfect from the day they dropped off the tents, tables, and chairs, all of which were in great condition, to the day they picked up. I received so many compliments from our guests asking where we got all the party equipment. I highly recommend this company to anyone! I can’t wait to host another party in the near future and hire them for events! Thank you so much again!!!
