We started our puppy girl at 6 months for puppy play and learn sessions with Kerry. These sessions provided her with a solid foundation to play and communicate with other dogs. She has since joined weekly adventures and comes home dirty, tired and happy. The trainers work with her to not only play but develop her skills at recall as well as other foundations. We are so happy to have found Dog Adventures NW for our energetic girl.

Having worked heavily with Dog Adventures NW for the last several years, I can say definitively they provide excellent services and employ folks who deeply care about your pup(s). It's been an absolute pleasure to have worked with Mindy Cook for something like 3-4 years, with Matt Langel 1-2 years, and U.B. as an occasional sub with my 5-year-old half border collie, half aussie shepherd, Howl. For quite some time now, Matt's had Howl two days a week for half-day adventures, and Mindy has two half-day adventures and one walk. Howl always comes back happy and tired - truly a difficult feat with herding breeds! All three providers are exceptional and have seriously special relationships with my boy and truly take care of him as if he were their own when he's in their care. They always make sure to communicate how he did with the other dogs, if there are any behavioral changes, if he got into anything that day, etc. and they also do a pass on a burr/foxtail check before returning him, which is especially helpful for Howl's thick coat. The consistent training they've provided that's baked into their time together has really been a boon for Howl's recall and other important trained behaviors. My boy waits by the front door ever so impatiently for them, long before he hears the gate open, and he is always THRILLED to hang with his friends—human and dog alike. All providers give full reports after every outing accompanied by a rash of the sweetest pictures that make my day. I really can't recommend Matt, Mindy, U.B., or Dog Adventures NW at large enough. Your pup will be in excellent, caring hands and will come back a pooped, socialized, and happy critter.

My 20 month old vizsla adventures every other week with Matt Langel through Dog Adventures. She actually took a recall class with him when she was younger. She waits by the door for him on adventure days and greets him with a toy, butt wiggles and even some piddles. It is great for exercise and socialization with other dogs and i have a very happy and tired pup for the rest of the day! The report after and pictures make my day. So glad for this service and Matt, who truly cares about your dog! It’s the best!

We have been using Mindy every Tuesday for about a year. I can hardly tell you how excited Cooper is every Tuesday morning. We actually think he knows when it’s Tuesday. She’s always on time, always concerned about safety and health of our dog, and is always fun to talk with. If we have concerns about Cooper, she will always offer ideas for the questions that we have. Our group of dogs were well curated by her. They are quite the pack! If she had the time, we would also use her dogsitting and occasional private training. dog Adventures NW has been an outstanding company. They are definitely busy which reflects how good their services is. When there are times when they can’t meet our need, they will give us a long list of other companies who may be able to. That shows great integrity. I looked at a couple of companies before hiring this one. I am very pleased with their services and Mindy in particular Mindy also has taken some of our favorite pictures of Cooper

My daughter found Dog Adventures Northwest when I was ill and could not care for my 13 month old puppy. He spent almost 6 weeks with Kerri and I can’t say enough good things about her training and boarding. They took him right into their family and loved him like their own. He was taken on all kinds of adventures from the coffee shop to the beach. He was offered all kinds of new experiences and as a result is an amazingly well-socialized puppy. No matter if I was at home or hospital, Kerri would bring him to see me whenever I asked. She took him for puppy check-ups and vaccinations. She drove across Portland to all of our locations without one complaint. He became use to car rides as well as park adventures. My puppy returned to me as a good tempered, very social teenager🙃. I don’t regret one penny of all my puppy and I gained. Sometimes you don’t realize what a gift you have been given until it is over.
