Unfortunately I had a negative experience here in 2024 and no longer use this groomer. I've recounted details below but simply put, I found the receptionist and groomers at this salon to be untrustworthy and evasive about how they treated my dog. I have a 13lb, 15yr old poodle mix that absolutely detests baths, nail clipping, and grooming clippers (even though she needs grooming 3-4x a year). Consistently she would return to me shaking, yelping, and panting after a full service groom at PETfectionists groomers. My dog probably has a little chihuahua and I assumed some of this behavior was unavoidable. However, I noticed that after a visit that my dogs nails were cut so short some of them had styptic powder on them for bleeding. I assumed this could have been a mistake but then noticed it happened a couple more times. At the next visit I asked the receptionist to not include any nail trim in the groom. Two hours into the groom the receptionist called to confirm that I did not want any nail trimming. When I picked my dog up and brought her to the car I realized two nails had blood and had styptic powder on them. I returned and told the receptionist I was unhappy that the groomer went against my wishes. The receptionist asked for proof so I showed her pictures. The groomer came out and conferred in the doorway with the receptionist. Then the receptionist told me that the groomer claimed he only used the nail grinder, not the nail clippers. I told her I was pretty skeptical that a nail grinder would cause my dogs nails to bleed. She promised it would never happen again. I did not ask for a refund and she did not offer me one. I have since taken my dog to Quality Pet Spot and found that she is much more calm after appointments.
