We are about three weeks into board and train with Alex at Dog Father Institute, with about another week or so to go, and the difference in our puppy has been incredible. He’s almost four months old, and we only had him for about a week before he went to train with Alex. Alex has been amazing throughout this entire process. He provides daily videos, pictures, and thorough, detailed updates on how our puppy is doing and what he’s learning each day. He’s always responsive, answers all of our questions and concerns, and makes sure we feel involved every step of the way. We also have weekly one-hour sessions with our puppy, which has been extremely helpful for learning how to continue the training at home. I was very hesitant at first because board and train is a big investment, especially for a puppy, but I am beyond impressed with the time, care, and dedication Alex puts into his work. He is a genuinely kind person and an excellent trainer, and it truly shows in the results. I highly recommend Alex and Dog Father Institute to anyone looking for professional, consistent, and caring dog training.

I've know Alox Lopez for 10 years now. You will not find a finer dog trainer anywhere. He has a natural born gift with dogs that he trains. The connections he makes with his canine students is truly remarkable. I'm a veterinarian technician, work in animal rescue and have for for the SPCA. Many claim to be trainers but Alex is the real deal. Thank you Alex for all your devotion and care you give to our most precious gift our dogs. Shay W.

I recently had the pleasure of working with ALEX, owner of DOGFATHER DOG INSTITUTE to train my dog, COCOBEAR. I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience and results. Alex is truly exceptional at what he does. I truly think he is a so called, “DOG WHISPERER.” He is exceptionally amazing with dogs no matter what their size or breed. From the very first session, it was clear that Alex has a deep understanding of canine behavior and a genuine passion for helping dogs and their owners. He took the time to get to know our dog, Cocobear and tailored the training program to fit our specific needs. We had enrolled our dog in a 3 week board and care training session. The training sessions were always informative and fun. Alex used positive reinforcement techniques that were both effective and kind. I was amazed at how quickly Cocobear picked up new commands and behaviors. Alex was also incredibly patient and supportive, always providing clear instructions and helpful tips for practicing at home. What sets Alex apart is his ability to connect with both dogs and their owners. He made sure we were confident and comfortable with each step of the training process. The progress we made was beyond my expectations, and we noticed a significant improvement in Cocobear’s behavior and obedience.
