I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Dorado Tax & Bookkeeping Services was frustrating enough that I feel compelled to warn others. First off, communication was a nightmare. I had to follow up multiple times just to get basic updates. Emails and calls often went unanswered for days, and when I did get a response, it was vague or incomplete. The real issue, though, was the inaccuracy of their work. There were several mistakes in my tax return—simple things like incorrect income figures and missing deductions I had clearly documented. When I pointed them out, I was met with defensiveness rather than accountability. At one point, I was even told "it’s not a big deal"—which, frankly, it is when it comes to taxes. I expected professional service, but instead I felt like I was being rushed through a cookie-cutter process with little attention to detail. Given the premium pricing, I expected a much higher standard of care. Needless to say, I won’t be returning. If you're looking for someone thorough, responsive, and professional—keep looking.
