I went here first week of January 2026 all seemed fine. Inquired about their Invisalign procedure and I was told to wait a month as more first time patients would be acquired in February. Ok, I waited the time and finally did the X-rays to order the Invisalign trays. Weeks go by and I hear nothing, so I start calling in to see what’s going on with those - I’m being told “call back, we don’t know yet. “ I called in again today to find out that they cannot do the Invisalign procedure here at all! I’m about 2 months in to the new year starting at square 1 basically. Be honest to your patients, do not bite more than you can chew, and do not waste our time.

I’ve been apart of this dentistry team for over 10 years. Dr. Rogers and my hygienist Johnny are the absolute best. I’ve never been comfortable going to dentist until I became a patient here. They’ve become my family now. I love their patience, gentle performance, professionalism and top tier service.

This was my first visit to Downtown Dentistry Atlanta, and overall, I had a very good experience. My appointment was scheduled for 9:00 a.m., and I was seen right on time, which I really appreciated no long wait at all. Several staff members made me feel comfortable and at ease, especially the front desk scheduling assistant with braces, Pam, and the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth. Everyone I interacted with in those roles was welcoming, patient, and professional, even while dealing with an internet outage in the area. Their ability to stay helpful under those circumstances stood out to me. That said, there are a couple of areas where I believe the experience could be improved. While I was getting my teeth cleaned, I overheard a tense interaction between staff members that felt inappropriate to occur in a patient-facing setting. Hearing a contentious exchange, especially one that seemed demeaning in tone, was uncomfortable as a patient. I think being mindful of professionalism and discretion particularly when patients are present is an important area for growth. Additionally, one staff interaction felt slightly awkward. While the staff member was friendly this is the one with the neck tattoo, the conversation felt a bit forced when my reserved demeanor didn’t match her energy. I want to share this not as criticism, but as feedback: patients communicate differently, and being quiet or soft-spoken doesn’t mean someone is disengaged or unhappy. Meeting patients where they are can go a long way in maintaining comfort. Overall, I will return because of the positive experience I had with the front desk staff and the dental hygienist, who truly made my visit worthwhile. With a little more attention to staff interactions and patient awareness, this practice has the potential to provide an even better experience.

I cannot recommend Downtown Dentistry enough! The office manager is absolute joy, welcomed me with a warm and bright smile immediately. Remembered my name and details about me! I use Johnny as my hygienist and I have never had a dentist experience that I look forward too! Johnny always remembers me and we have a great time chatting. He is efficient, painless, and gentle. My teeth and I are thankful for Downtown Dentistry!

The staff is always pleasant, efficient, and professional. So far, I’ve only had cleanings done at Downtown Atlanta Dentistry, but Johnny, the dental hygienist, is thorough and relatively gentle. He tells me what he’s doing and advises me on ways to address issues at home. He answers questions in a way that’s easy to understand.
