I have been a patient of Dr Nick for over 30 years. His eye care is terrific but what sets him apart is his personal touch; and that of his staff. Best example is a recent emergency retina issue that I encountered. Not only did he arrange to have me rushed to a specialist but he followed up with calls over the days following my surgery. He is a special person and great doctor.

I have been in to see Dr. Gutierrez a total of three times. The first time I had a problem with one of my eyes so I went in to see him, then I had a regular annual visit. It had been over a year since my last visit, and when he walked into my room, he acted as if I was in his office regularly. He seemed to have remembered little things about me that my general practitioner whom I have seen regularly for years still can’t seem to remember. He makes me feel comfortable and welcome. He is good too. My eyes are bad enough to warrant a prescription lens, but don’t really need one yet, so he was able to work into helping insurance cover the cost of sunglasses because the issues with my eyes is really a result of damage from the sun stemming from my life guarding and swim team years. The girls selling the glasses are amazing. They take the time to really get a nice frame for your face reflecting your style.

Staff Is Nice and Knowledgeable. Very helpful with issues that come up and can get you seen in a hurry. Dr. Gutierrez is a very nice msn and doctor that has the patience and time for the patient. Truly appreciate what He and His Staff have been able to do for me the past two visits. I've been going to his practice for 5+ years now.

I had the best experience ever. From the friendly staff, to meeting Dr. Gutierrez, and Marisa.....the office was warming, and very pleasant. After my exam I was assisted by Marisa and we picked out frames from a very impressive selection...prior to my exam, my 12year old daughter also had a great experience while getting fitted for her contacts....all in all. I would give this practice the highest rating and recommend to anyone.

I was beyond impressed with the level of service I received at Dr. Gutierrez's office. There was a slight scheduling hiccup to start but the accommodating front desk staff quickly worked everything out and I was in-and-out in 45 minutes! Dr. Moos provided exceptional service. Her level of professionalism and knowledge surpassed any that I have experienced from an O.D. thus far. And I felt this way even before finding out she was a fellow Berkeley alum! I was convinced I would never be able to find a comfortable pair of contacts but she managed to fit me in a pair that I love! I appreciated the extra level of service the office provided by picking out out a few frames for me to try on and having them set out for me immediately after my appointment. The office has a wonderful boutique area full of unique, classic, and stylish frames. They also have a lovely lady to help assist with a knack for picking the best frames for your face. I am so happy to have found Dr. Moos and her team!
