I joined Dragonfly over 3 years ago with only a short term goal of getting in shape for a vacation. As someone who had never stuck with any physical fitness habit, I was quite confident that this wouldn't be any different and I'd be back to my couch potato ways before the trial membership was done. Internet, I was wrong. Dragonfly is unlike any gym I've joined before. Coaches are focused on helping you, not selling to you. Dragonfly members form a caring, supportive community. I've never encountered anyone there who made me feel inferior or judged me. The classes are designed to be as challenging as you need it to be, and not just geared for one level of fitness. Coaches work with you where you are at, and are happy to suggest modifications as you need. Since joining Dragonfly, I feel strong and confident in my body. My Dragonfly workouts are now an essential part of my week, and I can't imagine going back to my couch potato ways. This is an incredible feat that Renah, the owner of Dragonfly, has achieved and maintains. How do you maintain such a positive, supportive culture in an industry that generally thrives by making you feel bad about your body? I don't know. But she does, and I'm very thankful for it. I could write a lot more, but if you're checking out the reviews, maybe just call and schedule a visit to see for yourself.
