I recently visited Dresses of Elegance to look at dresses for my daughter’s prom next summer. Lisa and her team were incredibly friendly, accommodating and welcoming. They hold an extensive range of styles and colours. I liked that we had a 1 hour private appointment, the cost of which is deducted from the price of a gown if you purchase. I expect they might get some time-wasters, so paying for a slot is a great idea to prevent this. The prices of the dresses are what you’d expect for the quality - they are well made and look beautiful. They are not pushy in the slightest and are honest about which styles and colours suit the best. Their advice was incredibly helpful in guiding my daughter to making her decision about her dream dress. The colour and style she chose was absolutely the best for her and we were guaranteed that no other girl from her school would be able to purchase the same dress! We did purchase on the day and were given the name of a local seamstress if required. I cannot recommend enough - it’s definitely the place to go to feel special and find your prom dress! I will forever recommend dresses of elegance because my experience was amazing from beginning to end. Lisa was absolutely fantastic the entire time and I could not thank her enough for her help. At my initial appointment, she fitted me in last minute to ensure I got a dress for my prom, which is next month, and her and Tasha made me feel at ease almost immediately. She explained everything to me and let me try on numerous styles to help me find the perfect fit for me. She also imputed her professional opinion through the appointment, which made my decision a lot easier. Upon returning today to pick my dress up and for my final fitting, she was very accommodating to me by ordering my dress in asap for me to get it to a tailor in time and even opened especially for me to pick up my dress on a day that suited me. When I tried the dress on it was perfect apart from a few loose threads. None of this was Lisa’s fault but she expressed her concern and offered to do everything in her power to make it right. All is well now and my dress will be sorted by prom. Again I cannot thank Lisa enough for her help in finding THE dress and for giving me the best experience ever. I loved every second of trying dresses on and wish I could do more to promote her business.
