Learning music with Mr. Dudley has been an absolute joy for our family. My children and I take ukulele lessons together, and each session feels like a blend of learning, laughter, and genuine appreciation for the art of music. The studio itself is simple—nothing fancy—but that’s part of its charm. What truly shines is Mr. Dudley’s gift as a teacher. He is patient, passionate, and deeply dedicated to his students. He’s always on time, flexible when life gets busy, and his rates are refreshingly reasonable. It’s rare to find someone who teaches with both skill and heart, and Mr. Dudley does both effortlessly. We always leave class smiling—and inspired to play more.

As an adult electric guitar student at Dudley’s, it has been such a rewarding experience. My lessons with Daryl are done in such a fun and encouraging environment for a beginner guitarist, and a space where I’m able to hone and practice on my craft.

Mr. Dudley taught music classes at The District School during the winter and spring of 2025. He did an incredible job connecting with students and was engaging and joyful as an instructor. He helped students develop a strong understanding of music theory, including rhythm, harmony, musical scales, and notes. He also taught bucket drumming, where students applied their knowledge of music theory through hands-on practice and performance.
