I had a great experience buying my first guitar! The person at the front desk was super knowledgeable and helpful, giving us lots of tips including some details on a beginners guitar class that Music on the Hill hosts. Couldn’t have been a more pleasant experience- thanks!

Really kind staff and good selection of instruments. Only complaint was there selection of rental guitars sells out quickly so I had to return a week later when more were in stock. It’s nice that they allow you to buy the rental ukuleles outright after your rental period.

An amazing instrument store and music school, a true staple of Capitol Hill! Our children have been taking music lessons here for years and the instructors' dedication, flexibility, and pure quality is truly outstanding!

What a lovely place to not only purchase an instrument but learn how to use it! We started with my granddaughter learning the violin and moved on to mommy taking guitar lessons. Very homey atmosphere and great with kids of all ages! When I finally have the time I want to learn how to play drums!
