I absolutely love the gym! The staff is fantastic and incredibly helpful. However, the maintenance in the men’s locker room is appalling. The bathrooms have a terrible smell, as if they haven’t been cleaned in months. The sauna is a breeding ground for bacteria, never hot and always dirty.

I have spent the last full year attempting to get them to stop billing me. I have followed their process exactly as prescribed. In the end they refused to refund me despite providing ample evidence of the repeated cancellation attempts. They owe me $540 dollars.

Plenty of room and equipment. Machines are dated but they do the trick. Men’s locker room smells horrible. Sometimes the entire 3rd floor smells like a urinal cake. I’ve never seen anyone clean either. Friendly employees.

I enjoy the body strengthening class at 12 noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the instructor, Daniel. He offers great movement options for all the routines to help make the exercises a little easier when your body has some limitations as I have. Daniel is very knowledgeable about his exercise routines, he has great personality as a exercise instructor, he's very personable, he has great energy, and he is very helpful in offering constructive feedback to be sure you are performing the exercise using the correct body mechanics especially for myself who is an older adult, and Daniel makes the class a lot of fun as well. Awesome class!!

I tried out East Bank Athletic & Social and I’m not gonna lie I LOVED IT. It’s not just a gym, it’s a whole experience. I did my workout, then went to the pool, hot tub, and sauna… I ended up being there way longer than I planned 😭 Everything was clean, there’s a lot of equipment, and it just feels like a nice place to spend time. Definitely a good option if you want a mix of workout and relaxation. Before it was East Bank Athletic it was Golds Gym so please don't let them reviews turn you around. I did the free day pass, I'm already a member at a gym and can't afford to add another gym membership to my budget. I know they have a membership for student and first responders I wonder if that's the same for teachers.
