East Lake Tree Services did an outstanding job removing a large oak tree for me. From the first call to the final clean up, their communication was excellent and they made the entire process smooth and stress free. Overall I had a mixed experience with EastLake Tree Services. On the one hand, I appreciated how quickly and easily I was able to receive a quote from James at Eastlake Tree Services. The quote we received was also affordable and James gave me multiple options based on our needs. On the other hand, there was quite a bit of yard damage that occurred as a result of the machines they used to haul away the tree debris. When I raised those concerns with the lead on site, I was dismissed and told to talk to James directly. Before calling James, I reviewed the contract I signed which stated that I should expect "minor depressions and evidence of wear in turfed or mulched areas"; however, there was now a large patch of our yard missing grass and multiple tracks of dead grass due to their machines. I called James to discuss what I saw and ask if there was anything they could do to fix the situation, and he told me to send him pictures. I sent him pictures and he reiterated what was in the contract and noted that while he was on site, he saw that our yard was "leaking" which may have exacerbated the damage. Since the tree removal I have had multiple plumbers/septic tank repair techs come to our house and none of them have been able to pinpoint the leaking that they described. Regardless, James said he would send out his team in the spring to lay down wheat straw to encourage the grass to grow which made me feel better about selecting them for the tree removal. He also stated he would send me an email confirming what we discussed so I would have it for my records. It has been weeks since my conversation with James and I still have not received a follow up from him. I hesitate to recommend EastLake Tree Services given my experience with their handling of my concerns and the lack of follow-up.

They were able to fit me in the very next day and safely remove a tree that had fallen on my home. The team was professional, efficient, and showed genuine care throughout the process. James and his team at Eastlake were efficient, professional, and very courteous during the removal of my elderly neighbors 2 VERY large trees. I highly recommend this team to anyone in need tree removal services. We live in an area that frequently has pines toppling over during wind storms and my neighbor, who is a disabled retired veteran, had been trying to get 2 large heavily leaning trees removed for the last few years but could not take on the costs other tree removal services were quoting. James stepped up and recognized my neighbors unique position and worked with us to accommodate a competitive and generous rate to remove the trees. I am grateful for Eastlake Tree Services and their team’s hard work to provide expert services and give my neighbor and myself peace of mind during the next storm.
We recently had a huge tree removed and another trimmed, and let me tell you — these guys leafed us speechless (in the best way possible)! From the moment the crew arrived, it was clear we were in tree-mendously good hands. They were like a well-oiled machine, efficient, focused, and clearly knew everything from roots to nuts. It was honestly a joy to watch. At one point, I caught myself just standing at the window like I was watching a nature documentary narrated by David Attenborough. “And here we see the noble arborist, gracefully ascending the branches like a squirrel with a chainsaw…” They made quick work of what seemed like a towering task. They bring all the top equipment, including: trucks, mulchers, Kubata claw machine, etc. And the cleanup? Immaculate. Not a twig left behind! Honestly, the yard looked fantastic when they were done. If you're on the fence about hiring someone for tree work, stop pining and give James a call. They’re the cutting edge of tree service — knot even kidding. Would 100% recommend. These folks are the best and great pricing too!
