One of my all time favourite sushi places. We discovered this spot around a month ago and we've already went to eat there like 5 times and we r not even from Madison! Every single thing we've tried is absolutely delicious and great. Can't recommend enough! Oishi roll is a must try.
Incredible sushi and experience! We ordered sushi for two which came with miso soup for each of us, and the plate consisted of multiple pieces of sushi, a dragon roll and California roll. Five stars from start to finish!
I love this restauraunt! I've been here twice and both times everyrhing was perfect. The food is delicious, i ordered the pink lady sushi and, though i dont usually enjoy cooked fish on sushi, the slight char added a perfect amount of acidity to the roll. Also the tonkotsu portions is huge. The staff are are very kind and always lots of fun to talk to! I really enjoy how this place is decorated, from the paint to the small pieces of decor to the shades they put on their lights. Even the big ugly fish in the tank when you walk in are great for the vibes. Don't even get me started about the way they present the food at your table, the plates and dishes and cups! The banana leaf under the sushi was the perfect touch. (Last time we ordered the sushi boat and that was so much fun I won't even get into it.) It is important to note that this place isn't cheap to eat at. Basic rolls are often around 10 dollars, while specialty rolls (which you can't not buy) are more $15-$20, and ramen is about $16. So a ramen per person and a specialty roll to share is about $47-$52 (not including tip, please tip!) Plus a drink of course, cuz why not, but cocktails are priced as you would expect anywhere else, close to ten dollars, so when you buy one (because someone has to drive) the total is about $60 All that said, it is more than worth the price! If you want to go somewhere new for a special occasion I highly reccomend edo asian cuisine (aka oishini) 5/5 stars
We went here for dinner and got their bento box special which was fantastic! You get a sushi roll, rice, vegetable tempura, shumai, and a main dish, all for a really good price. The nigiri was also some of the best we’ve had in Madison! The service was quick and our waiter was such a kind gentleman Also the vibe inside is so peaceful, like a spa. Overall I HIGHLY recommend!
Always a perfect experience. The nigiri is fresh and delicious, and the rolls are served beautifully with lots of creative options and great rotating specials. Our #1 spot for sushi in Madison!
