I would not recommend booking this truck for your event. This truck was booked for an outdoor movie night, I waited in line for 50 minutes. They were out of a lot of items when I finally ordered. The burrito was supposed to come with chicken, beans, cheese, pico, and guac, and instead only had chicken and cheese because they were out of everything. I paid $15 for a tortilla with chicken and cheese after waiting almost an hour. They were definitely not prepared.
This place has been pulling up to my apartment almost weekly and I decided to give it a shot tonight. Admittedly I wasn’t expecting much, I was wrong. IT.WAS.AMAZING. I have lived in San Diego for my whole life and this was hands down the best quality quesabirra tacos I’ve had from a taco truck. Food was amazing price for the portion size. Definitely will be back to try more! Oh and the churros are really good too! Update from 5 stars, have had this place twice more since initial review but the quality of the food took a slight dip. Still great food truck overall
El Taco Spot Food Truck was great! I had Sebastian and his team serve about 30 guests for my wife’s Birthday party and everyone was impressed. Everything on the menu was excellent and they were very flexible on what guests ordered. The Birria burrito was awesome and the Churros for dessert are a must! I highly recommend El Taco Food Truck for your next event.
Quite possibly the fastest and most delicious Mexican food truck you can order from. Not to mention, every member of their staff is extremely nice. Must try the next time you are in San Diego.
