Jimmy is amazing! Patient and creative in getting to the issue plaguing our 40+ year old B&O turntable. So grateful he does this kind of work, otherwise we'd have had to give up on our prized B&O. Great guy, responsive.

Man. Where do I start with the review of a great repair technician as well as a great guy My Pioneer QX 949 Quadraphonic Receiver got “dropped / bounced “ during shipping. It was dead on arrival !! Took it to Jimmy at Electronics Service Center where he gave it a professional check out. He discovered that the heavy transformer rattle loose probably in transit then broke free and broke / cracked the major supply board as well as other key components when it got dropped He took on this dead receiver to see if he could breathe life back into it. He gave me a fair and reasonable estimate at the start. After some time - ie waiting on real / good rated parts - repairing the damage circuit boards and other capacitors / resistors / transistors that got damaged and or updating per vintage dealer tech advisories - Jimmy brought it back to life. All four quad decoder boards work as they should - powers up fully and drives my four matched speakers as it should. My quadraphonic reel to reel / quad tapes sound tremendous on the Pioneer. !!! Jimmy stayed within his estimate as promised. He did a lot of work. I am still on the good side value wise of my total cost on this receiver. He also fully demonstrates your repaired unit before you leave his shop. I am a very happy customer

I have relied upon Electronics Service Center and its owner, Jimmy Diaz, over the past several years to keep my vintage '73 Marantz 2230 stereo receiver running and sounding great, long past its original life expectancy. I have found Mr. Diaz to be a straight-shooter, good communicator, honest, fair priced, and extremely competent in his field of electronics repair. In this region very few highly competent audio repair shops exist; I highly recommend this one. - Michael James
