Had a great time. Impressive variety of styles. Dope dance space and awesome instructors. A bit of non-consentual filming which I didn't expect and you should know if you come take classes. There's a voluntary filming portion which is really cool but folks will also just film you while you're taking class without even checking that you're ok with it. If you don't mind that you'll love this place.
Ive only been to two sessions at Elemental but I’ve really enjoyed it so far. Both classes were beginner hip-hop with Manni, who is an amazing teacher and dancer! The classes are the perfect amount of choreography to learn in an hour and the music has been really fun. I love that this studio uses gender inclusive language. Giving options for ‘fem’ or ‘masc’ moves, but not saying ‘guys do this and girls do this’. I feel like it makes the space feel more open to queer and trans people. People have also been very friendly in the classes, and while they are generally dominated by women, there definitely some men who come to dance as well!
Paddy is an amazing shuffle teacher and makes everyone feel welcome. He has great energy and you can tell he enjoys it as much as his students 😀 His music taste is impeccable. I recommend 10/10 👌
My husband and I attended the Hip Hop Fundamentals class at Elemental Studios with Daniela, and it was such a great experience! The staff was incredibly kind and encouraging, and the energy in the room was so supportive. Everyone—front desk, instructors and fellow students—made us feel welcome right away. The choreography was on point, fun, and easy to follow while still giving us a good challenge. Daniela is a fantastic teacher who made the class both accessible and exciting. I left feeling uplifted and motivated, and I really loved the sense of community and support at this studio. Can’t wait to come back!
This is easily my favorite dance studio(by far). I’ve never experienced such a welcoming and encouraging space to learn as I have with Elemental. I’m a trans person and haven’t often felt safe showing up to classes in Denver. That hasn’t been the case with this studio. I’m so grateful for Daniella’s fundamentals class. She’s been such an inspiring and kind teacher. It’s really cool to see how much I’ve gotten to learn and grow in the last month. I highly recommend this place. Dancing here has become a nonnegotiable in my schedule each week. Thank y’all for the work you put in for the community ❤️
