Do you ever wish you could experience something for the very first time again? That’s how I feel about this place. Came here for our first stop during our staycation recently. Food was divine. Service was phenomenal. The place was magical! I wish it wasn’t so cold out, we would’ve dined out on the patio. Our server was so nice and helped us pick out things we’ve never tried before (we love Indian food but this place had delicacies we’ve never seen before). They did forget our raita sauce that we ordered but they comped it and still gave us some to go. Still so so worth the visit!

I have been here 2x with friends. From the first meal this has become my favorite restaurant. First off the front facing staff is so sweet and friendly their customer service is 10/10!! When you go absolutely get the mandala chai! O am now addicted. The first visit had lamb biryani and on the second chicken tikka masala. My friend had butter chicken, and my other friend had the apricot chicken. The apricot chicken was insanely good!!! In nice weather I definitely recommend their patio!! Customer for life! I keep telling everyone about this restaurant.

I had an absolutely magical meal here. I focused on trying specialties of Kerala. I cannot rave enough about the salmon molee. Yes, I wanted to eat more. My son and I also found the onion pakoras to be particularly addicting. He thoroughly enjoyed the lamb shank. The staff were exceptionally warm and interactive with us.

- [ ] The halwa is sooo good!l, not too sweet, just perfectly sweet and floral (the cardamom i’m assuming). - [ ] The chole was mid, not bad but i’ve made and had better. I added some cayenne and it made it a little better. - [ ] The naan was so tasty, tasted fresh ✨. - [ ] The butter chicken was amazing!! Definitely recommend, and the rice was cooked perfectly too, what else would you expect from an indian place?!❤️‍🔥 - [ ] The samosas are perfectly seasoned and so soft and crisp, great appetizers! - [ ] I think the sizes to-go are small. I’m hoping the ones for dine in are a bit bigger but i also know it’s probably not as much because of the tariffs going on so keep that in mind please. - [ ] Super happy there’s finally an Indian place in Oak Cliff!!

Elephant Indian Bar and Grill was such a gem in Dallas! The waiters were incredible; they were super attentive and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The ambience was fun and inviting, perfect for enjoying a dinner with friends or family. The food was seriously amazing. The butter masala was rich and flavorful, the raita was refreshing, and the coconut chicken was packed with taste. To top it off, they gave us rice pudding to try and it was sooo aromatic and delicious. Everything was decently priced too, which made it even better. If I’m ever back in Dallas, this will definitely be a must-visit again!
