From the moment I arrived, my experience was excellent. The waiting room was comfortable with soothing music, which immediately put me at ease. The front desk staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Dr. Applebaum was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend this location.

I had a very troubling experience with Elite Dermatology and Muneeza Muhammad for misleading and deceptive predatory billing by their office and lab. During my visit for a rash/skin reaction, I was pressured into having a skin biopsy. The dermatologist, Muneeza Muhammad, stated that the cause could not be determined during the exam and recommended to do the biopsy the same day. She presented the worst case scenario in order to justify the biopsy which I feel was a fear tactic even though my skin rash was just a large welt that comes and goes without real issue. I was quoted an out-of-pocket cost of approximately $240 for the biopsy itself. The nurse or assistant who administered the local anesthesia also injected me with the same needle for both injections with the 2nd being significantly more painful. She seem irate and rushed, which the experience more uncomfortable and painful than need be. At no point was I informed of the pathology cost, either verbally or in writing. The consent form I signed only stated that pathology would be billed separately, but no pricing or estimate was provided. I was later shocked to receive a $1,400 bill from the pathology lab, and now I am being told the total charges are now $4.3k. This cost was never disclosed prior to the procedure. Had I been properly informed, I would have not done the biopsy. Being presented with such a large bill after the fact is deceptive and unfair. The biopsy ultimately found NOTHING abnormal, which I already anticipated. Now I’m left with a $4.3k bill and a large scar. I do not feel this office was transparent or acted in good faith. I reached out to their office and received no response or resolution.

I saw Dr. Mohammad today. She’s awesome. She explained my care plan and answered all my questions. Her assistant today was Hannah. Hannah is such a caring medical professional. She even gave me a portable fan to use during a flash of heat. I highly recommend Elite Dermatology.

Dr. Applebaum is a great Dermatologist. She answered all of my questions and provided me with a detailed treatment plan. The staff is kind and professional and the office is very clean. I love the aesthetics. I am excited about my future results.
