I took a class with Coach Dave and had a wonderful experience. He guided us through great stretches and helped me work on kickboxing basics that I really needed. The class was challenging in the best way and Coach Dave explained everything clearly. I left feeling stronger, more confident, and excited to come back!

As a guy in my 40s with a family, I sought to learn Mixed Martial Arts and improve my health. After exploring several gyms in Houston and taking trial classes, I discovered Elite MMA. From the moment I walked in, the coaches and staff impressed me with their warm welcome and thorough gym tour. The engagement, professionalism, and pristine facilities stood out as the best I’d seen. Training at Elite MMA, revealed exceptional instruction and a vibrant community. Over 30 years, I’ve trained at various gyms, but Elite MMA’s world-class service, top-tier facilities, and knowledgeable coaching create a uniquely positive, growth-focused environment. Within months, my entire family—my wife and daughters—joined me in training jiu-jitsu and kickboxing. The kids’ and teen programs are outstanding. Coaches foster an engaging, motivating atmosphere while delivering impeccable technical instruction. With their deep martial arts expertise, Hai and Eric attract highly competent coaches who meet each student at their level—whether my five-year-old daughter, my wife with no prior training, or myself, needing to unlearn old habits. The coaching, underpinned by Hai and Eric’s leadership, is unparalleled. For five years, my family trained at Elite MMA multiple times a week. My wife and I earned our blue belts in jiu-jitsu, while our children thrived during their formative years (ages 5–10), training five days a week. To have such a challenging, but safe, positive environment fueled their enthusiasm and growth in jiu-jitsu, directly due to the empowering journey crafted by Elite MMA’s coaches. Beyond self-defense, discipline, patience, perseverance, and humility, Elite MMA offers something rare: a positive attitude that flows from the founders through every aspect of the gym. This “Elite Family” and the community and growth that exist there profoundly impacted us. Relocating due to my career left a void, as Elite MMA and its community are what we miss most about Houston. Their character, work ethic, and leadership make it an exceptional organization, and my family feels fortunate to have trained there.
Elite MMA is an elite gym. My 8 year old son is been going for jujitsu since he was 3. I have been going for cardio kickboxing for 3 years. I will not recommend a better place for you or your child. They treat you like family. Best in Houston.
This place is just amazing! I have been here for a little over a month and am addicted to both the Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing training. I have taken martial arts classes before, but a long time ago, but the amount of care they take in properly training you before you just go out and start tumbling around is impressive. All of the other members in the classes are outstanding as well, and you truly feel in an instant that you are a part of something awesome. No one is too good to help or answer any questions you may have. I can already tell that I will be coming here for a long time and look forward to getting my son into the classes as soon as he is old enough to do it. Come by and check us out.
