This place is a hidden gem ! They greeted us as they seated us in a booth w/a beautiful table ! They took our drink order & gave us Chips with their homemade Salsa (really good)! By far the best Mexican food ! The prices are reasonable ! We ordered burritos , one with Chicken w/Red chili sauce w/lettuce , cheese & Guacamole ($1.50) moreone with Chili Verde Carnitas w/Lettuce, cheese & Guacamole ($1.50) more, but worth it ! Both burritos were huge filled with lots of meat ! With refried beans & rice ! Both were very delicious ! We took more than half of both burritos !

Been eating here for at least 20 years and it’s My favorite Mexican restaurant in the Long Beach/ north OC area. And I’ve eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants. Everything here tastes so much fresher and more authentic than other places that are more expensive. I’m picky about salsa and their table salsa is the best I’ve ever had. Guacamole is really good too. I’ve Never had a bad or average meal there.

A Long Beach classic. In a world where $8 street tacos are deemed “authentic” by some white dude in a trucker hat, Enrique’s is just over here making massive portions of comfort food. I love their carne asada plate, especially when Enrique is there. Their Carne En Su Jugo is a go-to as well. There is a huge pork leg that isn’t on the menu that is pretty stupid-good, too. Oh yeah! The steak & shrimp skewers, too. It’s been in business for a long time and still has big lines of you catch it at a busy time, so check the wait here on google first. Oh yeah - it’s family-owned, too - and they’re just a wonderful family. Seeing exactly who your hard-earned money goes to, especially when they’re good folks, is a huge plus in my book. Just go. Enrique’s is awesome.

One of my favorite restaurants in LA county for Mexican food. Every dish I had is always tasty and enough to save for later meal. 😊

My wife and I really enjoyed our lunch. The albondigas soup was authentically delicious. My carnitas were a little different but still tasty. Our waitress Sandy was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be coming back next year for our Super Legends Cruise.
