I knew early on that I would need a wedding planner for our 2025 week long Indian wedding, but I also knew it was going to be hard for me to trust someone. When we were looking for a planner all my friends told me who not to hire from their experiences. Kim was the first planner we consulted and the only one that came with a positive recommendation. From the first meeting I knew she had the type A energy I needed a planner to have in order to comfortably delegate and let go (especially during the actual week). She has a great system and team. We had 45+ vendors and she was present at almost all the meetings when we were narrowing them down both in person and virtually. We had regular planning meetings with her starting more than a year in advance. She understood the dynamics and also knew so many traditions that she was able to teach us considering it was the first wedding we had in both of our families since our parents’ own weddings in the 90s. She was there to calm my panic attacks and to really prioritize us on what tasks need to be done first versus the ones that can wait. She is professional and knows how to stand her ground amongst the competing strong personalities in Indian families and vendors. All our events went smoothly and we have gotten endless compliments of the week — we know a large part of the credit goes to Kim and Shams who were working to make them on time (a first in our circles) which resulted in a great guest experience. During the week they made sure we ate and even surprised us with a special lunch (my husband’s favourite) while we were getting ready, they ensured all our families were present on time from the various locations and that all the stuff was where it was supposed to be. They are a thoughtful and well managed team, we would recommend envision weddings wholeheartedly! Thank you for everything!
When I was looking for a florist, I talked to a couple other designers that were far less experienced than Envision, but Envision still gave me the best price quote. I’m so glad we went with them because they were absolutely beautiful! It was the chuppah of my dreams! The team did a great job transforming the room for the ceremony and the reception. Our sweetheart table and centerpieces looked amazing. They also added flowers to my bouquet the day of to make it match my vision exactly! They are very knowledgeable and practical about what kind of flowers to use, and how many you need to get the look you want! I would recommended them to design your day!
Like many couples engaged in 2020, my husband and I ended up having two weddings: the “real” big one that got delayed, and the microwedding that got suddenly planned in a panic. So it’s hard to know where to begin with how wonderful, helpful, indispensable, and reliable Kim and the Envision team were over years of planning (and replanning) two weddings during a time when nothing was remotely certain. Kim somehow knew what I wanted better than I did, always ready to tell me exactly what I needed to hear (even when it was “no!”). She also did our flowers and design, and essentially read our minds through the entire process. She was also fantastic at working within our budget, especially keeping the encore wedding in mind. Kim, in her expertise, suggested some fantastic vendors, and came up with ideas I had written off (like a vineyard wedding? I never would have imagined. But Kim did). The wedding days themselves were logistical wonders. Meghan took over in the weeks leading toward each event, and she might be the most competent person I’ve met in my life, while still being so warm and cheerful. Many wedding planners in southern Ontario have years of expertise, they have connections, they have the portfolio. But Kim is truly a rare gem of a person. She’s so real, so genuine, so down to earth. You will get your dream wedding with Kim not only because she is a connected, creative, hard working professional, but also because of who she is as a person and how much true passion and dedication she puts into her work. My husband and I consider her a friend after all she’s been through with us at this point. That, and she guessed my favourite bubble tea flavour :)
We had the most incredible experience working with Envision Weddings for our wedding! From the very beginning, we worked closely with Kim, who made planning our dream wedding so easy and enjoyable. She truly listened to our vision and helped us bring it to life, offering amazing suggestions and keeping us on track throughout the whole process. As the wedding day approached, we transitioned to working with Meghan, who took over and absolutely crushed it! Meghan made sure everything ran smoothly and was on point, so we could truly enjoy our day without any stress. Thanks to her and the team, everything flowed perfectly, and before we knew it, the day had flown by in the best way possible—seamless and full of love. Working with envision weddings was the best choice I could have many for my wedding. I got the wedding planning services with the amazing Jenna and floral and decoration services from Kim and her amazing team!! They were incredibly professional, kind, and creative. They worked with me through every step of the way to floral planning and decoration making (which they did an incredible job with!!). Kim’s husband also helped with walking our dog Mabel so she could be a part of the wedding and taken care of when she got home. We appreciated this so much!! The wedding went off amazing and it was all thanks to their help and expertise. Highly highly recommend them!
