I originally signed up when this was still Gold’s Gym and genuinely enjoyed it. Since the transition to EOS, the gym has been going downhill. It’s disappointing because this used to be a gym I enjoyed. It’s way over crowded but what do you expect with $9.99. Now you have to wait a long period of time for any machine or equipment. Only time you’ll find good time to workout is on the weekend when most people don’t show up. the people dynamic has changed to more on their phones or just hogging the machine. It’s become very frustrating now Weights are more scattered than what they use to be. Working out use to be a place to destress now it’s become more of an inconvenience it’s very unfortunate. Eos pls save me your automated response shows the quality of care.

The blonde girl at the desk was very unhelpful and seemed annoyed the moment I walked in and asked about the 7 day pass. She told me my pass expired 2 days ago but that was not true because I had the email with the expiration date. I asked then if I could get a new 7 day pass, but was denied because it's only meant for residents of Long Beach? Nowhere online does it say you must be a local resident and I only live 6 miles away anyway so it's not like I am out of state. Since I was already at this location and spent time driving and had my workout clothes on, I asked if I could at least get a day pass and was told it costs $40. Clearly the girl did not want to help and was making things up to get me to leave. I am happy to report I have since started a membership with 24 hour fitness instead.
