Great escape rooms at this place. I did 2 of them and I really enjoyed! Attic was an amazing room master! Will def come back to finish the other rooms!
Fantastic place! Attic was a wonderful host! The Submarine was tough, but we made it out at 58:45. We still hold the record for Uncommon from six years ago! Thank y’all so much for a great experience! Love, Heels Down Under
We enjoyed the experience but felt that some of steps were pretty illogical compared to other escape room experiences I have had. We usually don't need many hints but would not have gotten very far without a bunch for this one. The lead up story for the Uncommon Room was a bit lame too. It didn't really get us excited.
I recently participated in (T)error in the Skies with a small group of colleagues. This was my first escape room, but it did not disappoint. The room really gave off "Budget Airline" vibes, down to the bedraggled airline seats, mostly empty beverage cart and sticky pages of the in-flight magazine! Our host, Attic, was fantastic. The puzzles were challenging but not frustratingly so. The puzzles leaned more towards math and solving for correct answers than 'read between the lines' hints, but I thought the balance between the two was good. Other reviews talk about linear solves leading the group to have to all work on the same puzzle at the same time. That is not the case for this one, there were times that we were working on 4-5 different tasks at the same time, and other times that we were all working on the same task at the same time because we needed that many hands on deck for the specific problem. 10/10!! Also, big shout out to Escape on Purpose for accessibility. We ended up at this venue after calling several other escape rooms and discovering that they were either unable to accomodate a wheelchair, or the person answering the phone was unsure how to answer questions about accessibility. When I called here Attic was knowledgeable, friendly and very up front about the potential spots that were not fully accessible. When we arrived Attic shared that they were planning a renovation soon that would eliminate the one barrier in this puzzle making it fully accessible. Speaking only to (T)error in the Sky, I think this puzzle could accommodate up to 2 wheelchair users at a time before it got too crowded, however, you will need at least one ambulatory player as some items are only accessible from standing height, and currently there is a doorway that has been narrowed to accommodate props/set that a chair would not be able to go through.
I was really impressed with this room! We did the Submarine room with 7 people and it was honestly quite difficult. The room wasn’t super intuitive but it wasn’t too hard that we couldn’t escape. We had to ask for a few clues but we were able to get through the last room pretty quickly and escaped with 6 minutes! The theming was incredible with the space feeling exactly like a submarine. Would definitely like to come back here sometime and do another room!
