We were lucky to work with Amy Smith while choosing furniture for our new house from Richmond, Virginia’s Ethan Allen store. Amy’s design talent and expertise, along with her excellent listening skills, helped us to crystallize the vision for our home. Her suggestions were always helpful, thoughtful and productive. At one point she had me sit in every armchair in the store to find the one most comfortable for me. Amy exuded patience and good humor throughout our very extensive collaboration. We’re so grateful for such a positive and beneficial experience!

We loved working with Melanie Kliewer to design our living room so much that we came back a year later so she could help us design our dining room. Melanie came to our home to measure and design our space. The renderings she gave us before we purchased really helped my husband visualize everything together. She made wonderful suggestions to pull the space together while keeping our style, our lifestyle as well as budget in mind. She was able to help us take both my husband’s style and mine into a design that we both absolutely love. Our space is beautiful and cohesive. The furniture is so comfortable and is great quality, and the fabrics are just so beautiful. We get so many compliments on our space. We couldn’t be happier! Edited to add - I hesitated to add my photo because photos just don’t do it justice! The fabric and textures are just beautiful and in person the greens and blues are stunning.

Our space has been transformed thanks to Melaine Kliewer, and the end result is more lovely than I ever could have imagined! After completing a renovation, we were in need of pretty much everything. It was overwhelming until Melaine stepped in and began to share her expertise on furniture options, space layout, and decor. She had great ideas and created computer renderings of our space which allowed us to easily see her vision. Melaine has a knack for designing spaces that not only function superbly but look equally amazing. She also made the ordering process simple. And when the pieces arrived, Melaine made several home visits to help ensure proper placement and to offer even more styling tips and suggestions. If you want to work with a true expert in design, I highly recommend Melaine Kliewer. I can’t wait to work with her again on our next project!
