A cozy bookstore with handpressed zines, a fun selection of gifts (Buffalo post cards, snacks, mugs), and very particular books. The owner is a delight-they talked about how the shop will have authors come into discuss their works, the space is warm and decorated, and they were jazzed about having us stop in. I was impressed by the diversity and inclusivity of the owner’s selections — several offerings on prose by Black writers and Palestinian writers. I saw many, MANY titles that were written by Trans and Queer authors. Purchasing your books from Evening House is Buying Local — stop in, you will find something!!

Lovely little bookstore with a wide variety of books. I found books here that I've never seen anywhere else. I will gladly visit here again in the future. I did find it a little strange that I didn't receive any type of receipt (physical or via email) after completing my purchase.

I stopped in here during my recent trip to Buffalo. They have a really cute storefront and a unique and very well curated collection. I had a great chat with them about our recent reads and they were able to provide great book recommendations.
