Took my ball python, Echo, to this vet as she'd been having a belly scale issue. Shes been tank surfing, and tearing her belly scales. Scheduled my appt and they had very quick avail (2 days out, although I had to opt for later due to schedule conflicts). She was very thorough in asking about Echo's tank set up, heating, lights, all the works. While my girl did decide to shed the evidence of her tank surfing the night before the vet visit, the Dr was able to give me multiple options as to trying to find the source of the issue, and the pricing is very reasonable for an exotic vet! Will definitely be bringing my babies here for any future needs! (Snake tax picture included)

I was referred to Exotic Animal Hospital of Orlando by a close friend after I reached out to her about my sick bearded dragon, and I’m so glad we chose to come here. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and stress-free. The staff and doctors were incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and they were able to identify the issue right away. We were sent home with medication and clear guidance, and I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable the visit was. Overall, it was a truly positive experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. We will definitely be back!

What can I say about Exotic Animal Hospital, they’ve been absolutely wonderful. We started bringing our quaker parrot here in May of this year, and from the very beginning, their service has been nothing short of attentive, compassionate, and professional. Our first visit was a simple wellness check, which was quick, thorough, and reassuring. Our second visit, however, was much more serious. Our bird developed a severe infection under his wing and appeared to have had a seizure. The veterinarian carefully examined him, explained everything clearly, and treated him with such gentleness and care. They prescribed medication and followed up to ensure his recovery. We continued his treatment for an extra month just to be safe and thanks to their attention and expertise, our little guy was back to his happy, healthy self in no time. We also recently boarded him at Exotic Animal Hospital while we were out of the country for two weeks. Knowing he was in such capable hands gave us so much peace of mind. We were sad to learn they’ll no longer be offering boarding after January 2026, but we’ll absolutely continue bringing our bird here for his veterinary care. Every doctor and staff member we’ve met has been amazing, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care they’ve provided. I would recommend this vet to anyone and everyone whether you have a furry friend or a scaly one. You can ensure that your pet is in great hands and will be well taken care of!

My partner and I took our veiled Chameleon here today for a routine check up and had a wonderful experience! Dr McLeod was very helpful and kind. We received lots of helpful information about chameleon care and felt true compassion from Dr. McLeod. She handled our baby with such care.The staff was also exceptional. We will definitely be returning and hope to try their boarding services in the future. I would recommend this location to other exotic animal owners.

Dr. McLeod did an amazing job with my guinea pig’s soft tissue surgery to remove a cyst. She was caring, thorough, and made me feel completely at ease. The surgery went smoothly, and recovery has been great. I highly recommend her!💗
