Was nearby for a 6-night stay and got food from Express Halal 4 times for late-night eats. Got the lamb, chicken, and falafel over rice. The food was so tasty and the service was, bar none, the friendliest I’ve ever received. You guys are awesome…thank you!

Express Halal Food Truck – NYC Visited during Christmas 2025 and was happy there wasn’t much waiting time. The kati roll was very good—fresh and flavorful, definitely the best item I tried. The chicken over rice was not bad either and a decent option. However, the falafel over rice was disappointing. It had uncooked chana dal, and the dish was overpowered with too much cumin and turmeric, which affected the overall taste and texture. Mixed experience overall. I’d recommend the kati roll and chicken over rice, but the falafel over rice needs improvement.

DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM THEM. Sunday night I bought 3 platters and a soda and this guy scammed me. He took long to make it and food was ok. My credit card was charged $89. Im so Pissed, the food was ok, never been scammed by a halal food truck shame on them. I was in a rush to catch my train, and I was with my daughter and now I see the charge on my bank statement. Worst experience, Not reccomended to.anyone to go here,WHAT jERKS.. DONT BUY HERE, DONT PAY. WiTH CREDIT CARD.

I was working an event up on 6th and I just ate here three nights in a row. I had the lamb over rice and also the falafel over rice. Both were awesome - He cooked the falafel fresh for me and it was some of the best falafel I have ever had. They remembered me each night and my order. Fast, friendly, affordable, and delicious. Skip the other places and stop by this truck on 27th!

After a long journey from London the Express Halal Food was a welcome treat! We had the chicken over rice and a double cheeseburger. Really enjoyed it, good quality and larger portions. Definitely will be eating again!!
