It was a great experience for my first escape room. Silas was bery knowledgeable and explained the expectations of the escape room simply enough where i wasn’t guessing what was going on. Conner assisted clearly and calmly on the hints that we asked for. All-in-all, i am pleasantly satisfied with my first escape room experiece and will definitely come back again.
John & Silas were wonderful! We did the Hallow’s Eve and Illusion room on hard mode with a group of two and it was perfect! We did struggle with the Hallow’s Eve (I am a big ole chicken of scary so if that’s you, you will eat the time cause the room does a good job with the hibby jibbies). Overall, a great time with great staff!
We did both the mine shaft and the magician one. Definitely prefer mine shaft over the magician. Very neat theming for both rooms and we had Silas as our game master (she definitely fits the vibes for the theme - very cool) In the magician we ended up doing things out of order so we were left confused at time. Magician room is also 99 percent traditional so it requires more time running around plugging in the code than sometimes finding the code itself which makes it harder.
We visited this location on October 5th since they had a sale going on for their live actor escape rooms! We had did the room with zombies and it was kind of difficult cause some clues/ hints didn’t make sense. The one on the wall the eye had us all confused and lost. But overall, we did like the room and the decor! We had a scare actor and his name was Israel… I guess he was an outside hire for a short period of time and yeah. He had said a lot of inappropriate things to us and made weird suggestions. He also was talking a lot of trash to one of our guys cause he wasn’t helping a lot when we were solving clues. It’s one things for your friends to talk mess to your friend but it’s not okay to have a stranger say those things. One of the other live scare actors (Jules) was really good and nice! Our game master Silas was great as well when it came to asking for hints. We had briefly talked to John when we were there cause Israel was starting to promote his own escape rooms business etc. Overall, the experience wasn’t the worst but it definitely wasn’t the best.
John, the manager was just wonderful and sweet and very welcoming to our family. Making the whole escape room experience just soo much fun! To everyone there, Silas, and Xavier, thank you. Most definitely coming back! See y'all soon!!!!
