I same day booked a table at Azov for my anniversary night, and the experience was truly outstanding. I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist, who showed me to my table, which had a thoughtful “Happy Anniversary” card from the restaurant. The waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, offering great recommendations and ensuring everything was perfect throughout the evening. Each dish was personally presented by the chefs, who took the time to describe their creations, adding a special touch to the meal. The entire experience made the night unforgettable. I highly recommend Azov for any special occasion—whether you’re celebrating with a partner or enjoying a night out with family. Update 1/11/26: As regular patrons of Ezov, we are consistently welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. Today, we explored several new selections from their Sunday brunch menu, and the experience exceeded expectations. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully curated, offering an excellent variety. As always, we left with empty plates, satisfied, happy, and ready for a leisurely neighborhood walk home. A consistently outstanding experience with great food and an inviting atmosphere.
This place was amazing and I’m definitely returning! Ambiance, food and service - all of them were equally good! The flavor in my dishes was sticking out. My fav one of all was the mushroom shawarma and the falafel. Falafel was super crispy on the outside and refreshing in the inside.
Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The hummus and crab as well as the crudo were exceptional. They have an amazing and unique wine list full of Greek, Lebanese, and Eastern European wines. We had their Agiorgitiko wine with our lamb and it paired pleasantly well.
Had a great time with my family for my sister and brother-in-law's birthdays. This was an excellent choice. The food was amazing. Even things I usually never eat were transformed into delicious dishes. I am sure the staff was tired of me telling them how much I enjoyed each successive dish. Everything was shareable and if there is concern you will walk away still hungry, let that go because I was stuffed. Food was excellent. Try the smashed cucumbers. Service was very good. The one negative thing I would have to say is that the music was loud with a club like beat. It made it difficult to hear across the small table without yelling. General rant: (not just about this restaurant) This is an overall trend that I've noticed and don't care for; restaurants trying to create a vibrant "dance club like" feeling. To me, it makes many restaurants less enjoyable. Makes me less likely to go back. I don't get it. I have heard the same from other people across the age spectrum. So it is not a matter of: "if it is too loud, you're too old." I know some people that when the music is that loud it upsets their stomach. Ezov did turn it down a bit for a little while but we did notice the volume creep back up as the dinner progressed. If I had a suggestion it would be to switch to more of a "lounge like", lighter background music.
We went out for a Friday date-night dinner and Ezov absolutely blew us away. Before I get to the food, I just have to say our server Darryl (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was phenomenal. He was friendly, attentive, and really knowledgeable about the entire menu. He gave us great recommendations and really made the entire meal a wonderful experience. I know their menu changes, but here's what we had. We had two cocktails each: the Dew Drop, Kardia's Cure, Amba-Rita, and Tom Selek. All of them were tasty, but my favorite was the Dew Drop. His favorite was the Tom Selek. For food, we split a bunch of different items. We started with the Fire-Roasted Eggplant and Whipped Bulgarian Feta which was served with their house bread. The bread looks like it would be dense, but was light and airy and perfect for dipping. The Eggplant was good, but it was absolutely outshined by the Feta (which was our favorite dish of the meal). Next we decided to have some veggies. We tried the Pickles and Spicy plate along side the Smashed Cucumber and Smoked Labne. We liked all of our dishes, but the cucumber was at the bottom for us. It just didn't pack the flavor punch the rest of the dishes had, but it was still good. The Pickles and Spicy is a good name because it definitely was spicy. We really enjoyed that dish as well. Finally, we ended with the Pastrami Lamb Shank. That lamb was so crazy tender and the pastrami seasoning was perfect. It came with a garlicky sauce and interesting mustard for dipping. We left Ezov satisfied, happy, and with plenty of leftovers. I'm sure we will be back soon to try more dishes.
