Visiting Manchester from the US. I had an appointment at another barber that was cancelled 12 minutes prior. I was traveling on foot so I was mere blocks away. Strolled around the area and was taken as a walk-in. Got a simple cut, 0 all over. Beard maintenance/trim. My services were spectacular! My barber was professional and diligent in his work. I could tell his tools were well maintained. Everything from clippers to razors were sharp and the work was so smooth. The results were fantastic. There are other shops that look high end, but can't do the work. This shop gets results and aren't distracted by bells and whistles. This will be my spot when I am in country moving forward.

Absolutely shocking and unacceptable service. I booked and clearly requested a curly perm, which I did not receive. The staff showed a serious lack of professional knowledge, and as a direct result my hair has been severely damaged. Since the appointment, large amounts of hair have been breaking off and falling out, which I have photographic evidence of. The service took over 3 hours for a perm and taper. I was charged £95, despite the £85 price advertised on Booksy. When I raised this issue and requested a refund due to the damage caused, I was met with lies, verbal abuse, and hostility, not professionalism. During this confrontation, I was physically assaulted by a member of staff while attempting to resolve the matter. No apology or accountability was offered at any stage. This is far below the standard expected of a professional salon in England. I am now left dealing with hair damage, stress, and distress caused entirely by their negligence. I strongly advise others to avoid Fade Inn Salon.

Got butchered what i asked for ,was a fade/blended into the cut that i already had but wasgrowing back pls,with maybe a 3/2shave at the back,also asked if he could square off at the nape area ,what i got was scalpedand left with a mohican /half mullett type thing thats not even remotely straight never mind styled!!!have half head of hair(mild afro-ish) and wanted a fade on the sides as the new growth was grey and wispy and does not last when smoothed with any product,so decided to get rid as it equated to not even half inch !!now i have a woolly hat on as i have brain freeze in my house!!!Also there was no interaction,pause and check,did not show me the back or the sides or anything at all and then charged me £25 for the assault on myself and my hair🥺i could say more but i have a christening on sunday and need to go to another barbers or wig specialist as my other half is not best pleased so yeh all in all not great!!! ******added as edit*** i have read some other reviews and our experiences seem worlds apart so i would like to ask mike if he could comment and i could maybe book in with yourself please at a future date(when my hair grows back atleast)thanks

I had such a great experience at this barber shop. I have Afro hair so finding a good barber for my hair is always difficult. But I knew immediately after entering that this was going to be good. I was met by my barber Mike who I explained that I wanted a skin fade, to trim my beard, and also to perm my hair. He then gave me a lot of good tips as to how to proceed, which made me trust his expertise. He gave me one of the best skin fades I have had, and lined up my beard nicely. He then proceeded to perm my hair, and the result turned out exactly as I wanted it and even some more. The end result was amazing and probably the best haircut I have ever had! I am so glad I went to this barbershop and I recommend for everyone especially those with Afro hair. Thanks a lot for the cut Mike! I will definitely come when I am in Manchester!
