Barak helped repair wall/paint damage as a result of a leak from the apartment upstairs as well as fix dents in our metal front door. His price was very reasonable and he did an excellent job with the work. Highly recommend.

I needed a few home improvements work done for my new home and I reached out to a few handyman services in the area. Barak was the most responsive one with a reasonable quote covering all the work and legit insurance (HOA was happy) and Im glad I went with Barak. Throughout the work he was kind, capable and attentive. There were a few unexpected challenges and Barak had them solved nicely. I’m very pleased with the vanity installed which was the major part of the work.

I'm facing the dilemma of keeping Fair Value Handyman a secret for myself or posting a positive review that will likely book up his time! Barak and his team were outstanding, and he lives up to his name! He listened to what we wanted, communicated during the entire process, and is very resourceful and creative (which is an invaluable asset especially when things don't go as planned). It's hard to connect to a contractor these days - they don't call you back or they completely ghost you. Fortunately for us, our experience with Barak was the complete opposite. We had him address several items in our condo in Hoboken (it was awesome that he was so local!) - renovating master bathroom, regrout and replace vanity in the 2nd bathroom, and painting the entire apartment. The results were amazing! We had a pretty tight timeframe to get this done (less than 2 weeks!), and he delivered right on time! Even with this time pressure, Barak was very thorough and meticulous, and while there were some hiccups along the way (not his fault) he always had a practical/creative solution to address the issue that kept us on track. He knew we were trying to stay within budget while achieving a certain look and suggested materials that were less expensive without compromising the quality or aesthetic. He was cost conscious and didn't push us to spend more than what we were comfortable with. He also pointed out items that were reusable rather than having them replaced. Make him your first call! You won't be disappointed! And if you are into supporting local businesses, this is one to get behind!
