Don't buy a pool here, they look great on display on perfectly flat cement, then their contractors show up, do a half ass job setting it up and leave. When you talk to the store manager about it they try and make excuses. I paid over $8000 for mine and gave it away 2 years later because it looked like it may collapse and flood my house. The 1 star is for the display models

The employee daniel was very helpful to me.He explained everything to me as well as he found a good deal for me.I would not have bought a hot tub if he was not.So helpful, but he was even the other staff that helped me with the loan. And explained how it would work.Everybody was wonderful, very clean place.I loved it

Update 01/02/2026: After posting a one‑star review regarding our automatic vacuum issue, the General Manager contacted me to address the concerns I had with the service at the San Antonio location. He offered to evaluate the unit and resolve any outstanding problems. We returned the vacuum to the store, where it was repaired on-site and provided back to us the same day. We greatly appreciated the prompt and effective service correction, as well as the General Manager’s personal effort to ensure the matter was handled properly. Be cautious when making purchases at Family Leisure San Antonio. We had a pool installed a few years ago and have experienced ongoing issues. Before installation, we purchased additional chemicals to kill the grass under the pool, but the installers did not apply them correctly. By the first summer, grass was already growing through the liner. The pool liner itself was poorly installed, leaving lumps and craters on the bottom. When we raised these concerns, we were told it was no longer their responsibility and nothing would be corrected. Just over a year after installation, the pool pump failed, and customer service offered no assistance. Most recently, I purchased an Enferno 2 pool vacuum for $1000 about two years ago. When it started malfunctioning, I brought it in for service - only to be told we were two days past the warranty and they could do nothing. Replacement parts would cost twice the price of the original unit. It's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for this company.

The customer service we get from there, especially from Duncan is top-notch. However, yesterday the air wasn’t on. It was so warm that we could t walk around to look at purchasing other items for our backyard. The employees looked miserable. Not having the air on is definitely a good way to drive away loyal customers.

Disappointed with Family Leisure – Same Price, Way More Stress We had a terrible experience with Family Leisure. The third-party excavation crew damaged our irrigation system—even though the yard was properly flagged—and left massive dirt mounds everywhere. No one told us cleanup wasn’t included, and we now face about $1,500 in damage and repairs. A crater formed right after installation. When we reported it, the GM blamed our irrigation system and said we might have to pay for a full reinstall. No ownership, even though the issue was immediate. What’s worse is that neighbors used other local pool companies—for the same cost—and had clean, smooth installs with no stress. We just want the company to do the right thing. But based on our experience, I can't recommend Family Leisure.
