I absolutely love Fitness Rangers. It's hands down the best gym in the greater Sacramento area. Awesome trainers, fantastic programming, and a community vibe. I've tried many different gyms; and I've never found anything as outstanding as Fitness Rangers. Definitely a very strong recommend.
I took my 10yo daughter in with me for a training session with Lianne. Lianne was amazing, and able to provide us both with needed instruction. The workout was both fun and intense at the same time!
This place has the best personal trainers (Lianne you rock!) and the best equipment. The classes appear to be popular and well attended. It has a great community vibe, where the staff make a point of getting to know you by name. This is a place for people of all ages and abilities, from beginners, to rehabilitation to competitive athletes. I’m stoked to have found this place.
This gym really deserves 1000 stars. I’ve been a member of a bunch of different gyms, I was college athlete, I’ve run half marathons, etc… and FR is BY FAR my most enjoyable workout experience. Theres a wide variety of classes, at all hours of the day, different rooms/studios which keeps the scenery fresh, the clientele are all friendly and fit, AND the trainers are….amazing. Simply put. If you’re looking for a gym, look no further - this is it! TY FR TEAM FOR ALL YOU DO
I have been going to this gym for 18 months now and it has been one of my best experiences with a gym membership to date - and I been a member of many various gyms in and around the Sacramento area. At Fitness Rangers, I don't just feel like a "number" to them - I feel like a member. Everyone of the staff is super friendly and encouraging as well as the other members. The owner, Adam, and Manager, Dana are usually always present and conversational and encouraging. I am always greeted by name and when I take their classes, I always feel that I am paid attention to by the trainer leading the class. Their feels that there is a great work culture there, that starts with Adam and Dana and flows to all of the other staff members. I take personal training at Fitness Rangers with Claire. I am always greeted with the biggest smile for my workout session - and if she is ever having a bad day - It surely never shows. I always feel challenged by Claire, both physically and mentally and feel that I am able to do certain exercises now, that I didn't think I was even capable of before staring with her. I see others work out with the other trainers, with most of the clients looking as if they are seeing tremendous results with the other trainers. The other trainers are very friendly and always available to answer any questions or make you feel welcomed. I have a sub-average build and never feel intimidated at the gym, regardless if I am personal training or taking a class. As far as price, the monthly membership is more expensive than the name brand (franchise) gyms - but I never truly felt welcomed at those gyms and Fitness Rangers is a lot more personal and I feel is worth the additional monthly membership. I am glad I found this gym and I commute to it from Elk Grove (which is quite a commute) but I don't mind, because of the feeling of the gym "community". If you are seeking a new gym, and are weary about checking this gym out, I suggest you take a tour and a few classes first and you'll surely agree with my review. - Mark Snyir
