Five Stone Advisers was used for a primary residence and multiple long-term rental properties. Each year they effectively reduced the property tax. Their communication and confirmations both before the effort and afterwards were top notch. These properties have all been sold, but I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

We had been shopping firms to work with and we went with Five Stone because there was no extra sales pitch it was straight business and they work very fast. We started working with them just weeks before deadlines and the communication and execution was flawless. I have been using Five Stone Tax Advisors for a few years now to contest property taxes on my primary home and other properties. They are very good at keeping my taxes as low as possible. Starting last year, I began working with their Income Tax filing team (Adam French). Adam is very professional and knowledgeable. He helped me file my complicated scenarios with international taxes, out of state LLCs .. etc. with ease. He was very responsive and courteous. Over all a great experience and a load off my mind!

We engaged Five Stone Tax Advisers in 2023 to represent us in our Income tax issues, planning, preparation, and filing as well as other various tasks that were confronted in the process. We were referred to them by a long time friend of ours who had engaged them several years before with similar issues and projects at hand. We used their services for our personal taxes as well as our self employed business. At the time we signed on with them, our current taxes were not up to date and we had past issues that still needed completion. Also, we had cancelled our relationship with our previous accountant because we needed representation by a firm that we felt had the resources and the personnel to be able to take on the challenges we faced. It also occurred at that time that I had developed some serious health challenges and was forced, due to my condition, to also retire from business and put it up for sale. They evaluated the scope and nature of the various issues that needed to be completed and laid out a plan for the execution of the preparations. There were issues and concerns that arose during the whole process, but they were always available to consult and advise us about how things should work out. One of the most comforting and relieving things they did for us was their ability and experience in planning, dealing and working with the IRS, which most people usually are not. The whole ordeal was tense due to the overall scope and volume of rectifying all the issues we faced. They were there when needed to advise and coach us with each task and challenge we faced along the way. Not only did they handle our taxes, but also assisted us with the various issues we faced with closing our business down with the state and federal agencies that are involved with personal business enterprise ownership. It is also noteworthy that they are capable of handling and managing a number other things that the average and not so average person can expect to deal with in the course of owning a business or home and of course the IRS. Also of note is that they also contribute a sizable percentage of their profit to charitable causes. Not only for this reason, but for all that is stated above and beyond, we feel our over all experience with them and the work and results that they accomplished for us were "Five Stone" STARS. There is no hesitation on our part in awarding them this recommendation.
