I genuinely love this studio and have truly enjoyed my experience here. The classes are effective, energizing, and led by incredible instructors—Cara and her team are so welcoming, knowledgeable, and talented. You can feel the care they put into what they do, and it creates such a positive environment to be part of. There are just a couple of areas where I believe the experience could be even better. The space can feel very tight during fuller classes, and at times you can’t even fully open your arms to the side without worrying about hitting someone. It can make it difficult to stretch and move comfortably, and takes away from being fully present in the practice. A little more space between mats, or even a few additional class options, could really enhance the overall flow and comfort. The waitlists also tend to be quite long, which speaks to how much people love being here, but can make getting into class a bit challenging. My biggest hope for improvement would be around the cancellation policy. The current 12-hour window with a $10 charge feels difficult, especially since life can change quickly. One morning my daughter was sick, and even though my class wasn’t until later in the day, I felt pressure to rearrange everything just to avoid a potential charge. I wasn’t actually charged, but the situation itself created unnecessary stress that no one should feel—especially when you’re investing in what is meant to be a positive, elevated experience. As a business owner myself, I deeply value being client-focused, and I know firsthand how much can change overnight—people get sick, life happens. Of course, a cancellation policy is necessary, but 12 hours feels excessively long, especially when there are waitlists that can easily fill those spots. With classes consistently waitlisted, it feels like there’s an opportunity to offer more flexibility without negatively impacting the business. I truly believe three hours is the sweet spot—enough time to respect the business while still honoring real life. This is the main reason I’m giving four stars instead of five, because small things like this can create frustration over time and may unintentionally cause clients to leave. I truly want to see this studio continue to thrive and grow, because it has something really special. With just a little more flexibility and consideration in these areas, it could be an absolutely exceptional experience.

Only taken my first class so far but hopefully I will go for more! The mat pilates class is vibey, challenging, and will sweat out your toxins and the studio is very clean and aesthetic. Shoutout to the friendly front desk and Genna who personally came to say hi to me, very few studios nowadays bother to do that!

I’ve been going to FLO Pittsburgh since April and have taken over 100 classes. The workouts are excellent—the intensity, heat, and class quality are consistently strong. Unfortunately, the sense of community didn’t feel genuine. While inclusion is talked about broadly, it often felt performative and more like an exclusive club you had to work your way into rather than a naturally welcoming space. This wasn’t a first impression—after 100+ classes, it felt consistent. Comments about wanting a “usual crew” in certain spots or calling out the class when people weren’t cheering or smiling reinforced that feeling. It is now very difficult to even get a spot in classes due to the long waitlists and the overcapacity leads to certain weights and supplies not being available. Overall, that is disappointing when you are paying a good amount of money for a membership. As someone who moved to a state where I know absolutely no one, I was really hopeful about joining this studio. I gave it a real chance and even recommended it to a friend, hoping it would help but responsiveness issues added to my concerns when they signed up and then were locked out of their account, and it took days for someone to return her call. I do want to highlight Kara, who was consistently kind and welcoming and truly made a difference.

Lovely studio! Everyone here was so friendly and kind. Beginning with the receptionists who made me feel so welcomed and appreciated. Especially the manager Steph who went above and beyond to invite me to be a part of my new community. I was able to get all of the information I would need to be prepared for class and what to expect at Flo. The studio atmosphere is cozy, clean and modern - exactly what I was looking for. The open space is comfortably inviting with warm/hot temperatures, low lighting, very quiet rooms, all of the necessary props and just enough mirrors for if/when you’d want them - but not so much that you feel like you’re just at a gym. Class was fabulous, the instructor kindly led our practice with intentional guidance always offering options and encouragement. Absolutely plan to continue my practice at Flo and highly recommend that you do too

From the moment I walked into Flo Yoga Studio I felt so welcomed. They introduced me to the instructor, gave me a little tour, and made me feel right at home. My very first class was Flo Endurance with Sadie and it was such a great workout. She has the most positive, high-energy spirit and made the class so much fun. I have been to other workout places where you feel like no one really cares, but Flo is the complete opposite. The next day they even called me to check in, see how I was feeling, and go over the policies so I felt comfortable and informed. That kind of customer service is rare and means a lot to me. Since then I have taken several more classes and each one has been amazing. I have met four different instructors so far and every single one has taken the time to introduce themselves and really get to know me. Flo has become my happy place. I get excited every time I come in and always leave feeling better than when I arrived.
