This rating is specifically on the project manager, Ray Colliers. When buying additional wood for a project, we stated we needed the wood by a certain date. At no time was it made clear to my 77 year old dad that he couldn’t cancel the order, which wouldn’t be an issue if the wood would have gotten here when Ray indicated it would. More clarity about all of this would have made this experience way better as we were on a time constraint. Just something to be mindful for anyone else. The store staff was great, especially Lisa, no issues working with the floor and decor staffing aside from our specific project manager, Ray.
Beware of doing business here! We purchased over $5000 worth of laminate flooring months ago. We’re finally getting around to installing it(unfortunately life through us some road blocks) and one box that is completely sealed is all cut pieces(there were X’s on the box under the plastic wrap) One other box had a cut piece also, but we didn’t think much of it until we got to this box. I called them and they won’t do any refund for a new box. We were planning on doing the rest of the bedrooms and our cabin from them but not anymore. They just lost a customer.
Had dropped into the Floor Store to check out what they had for our "new" home. Sarkis was on duty. What a find! Not only did he help us pick out our beautiful flooring, but when there were several change orders and issues with our renovation contractor he stepped up and help us find the replacements. When the floors were installed, by three of their installers, I can only say they not only did a great job, but they left the in place perfectly condition! Alexander and his assistants were not only great installers, perfect gentlemen! Awaiting the installation of our carpet and I'll add another review after that. Floor Store, I am not only pleased, I''m impressed!
We started the process with Kitchen Mart recommending the Floor Store and Dave. The process to measure, look at flooring, payment, and install were a breeze and the scheduling was really fast! The “A” team that was sent out really was the best! A two man crew came on a Tuesday, demolished all of our tile, came Wednesday and put in most of the flooring, and finished today! It’s been a dream to have this done for 12 years and the process was amazing. Thank you again to Dave and his crew he sent out. They really were polite, hardworking, efficient, clean, and FAST!
Frank and his team were fantastic. From the moment my wife and I walked into the Floor Store it was everything we wanted in terms of service, no pressure sales staff, and variety. Frank listened to what we wanted to do, showed us a selection of the items that would suit our needs, and asked us what we would like from him. This is in contrast to another well known store that greeted us and proceeded to tell us what they thought we should do. Big plus - Frank and his team were $1000 less that his competitors! Vlad and his team showed up on time, were professional, personable, and very competent. They were able to complete the job in one day, which included cleanup. The floors look fantastic and, to someone looking at the house for the first time, appear as if they were built with the original house. They also were able to patch up some carpet damage from the cats. In the future, when we replace the carpets, the Floor Store is where we'll go! Thank you Frank and Vlad!
