I came in when the owner was there he was very welcoming and we let him know we would come back . Which we did and he was no longer there . The owner told us we could bring our small child in with us and when we came back everyone in the building who was there when he said that including the tattoo white guy with dreads who was gonna be tattooing us and even gave us his business card pretended like they didn’t know us and refused our services.

This place is amazing! It was a three block walk (or so) from the hotel myself and my friends were staying at. The shop itself was clean, the staff was friendly, and Devyn did such an amazing job on our ink! Will definitely go back again the next time I'm in New Orleans.

The shop is clean and feels welcoming. Everyone there has great energy, super kind, and very accepting. As a transman getting a tattoo on my chest was something that made me nervous. I had the most amazing and comfortable experience! Definitely will be back for more! First photo is from March 16th, second photo is from May 25th.

Went in as a walk-in for a party of 2 and we were not disappointed at all. Leo was our artist and he was great from start to finish. Our tats came out beautifully and Leo made us feel at home and entertained us with his sense of humor. It was our first trip to New Orleans and this the cherry on top of a fantastic visit. Will definitely go back again!🐝💛⚜️

Blair and Louie are some of the nicest and greatest tattoo artist around. I have several and no one compares to the care and easy hand that these two have. If you are in New Orleans and are looking for the best look no further than Forbidden Art. My daughter got her first from Blair and she is hooked now. Got 3 in one night. This butterfly is a recolor from Louie and the Daisy is all shaded with only a liner. Great job guys be seeing you soon!
