Orleans Gallery is nothing short of extraordinary. This isn’t just another white-walled space—it’s a living celebration of Southern art at its finest. The space is beautifully curated, and rooted in a reverence for storytelling, craftsmanship, and place. Owner and director Cayman Clevenger has assembled a roster of artists that is as bold as it is brilliant—ranging from New York Times-acclaimed talents to rising regional voices. The gallery manages to feel both historically grounded and radically contemporary, offering works that are accessible without ever sacrificing depth. The space itself is a gem—housed in a restored 1800s building on Julia Street, it blends old-world character with modern polish. Whether you’re a serious collector or just looking for a comfortable space to spend an afternoon, Orleans Gallery offers an experience that’s thoughtful, inspiring, and genuinely one-of-a-kind. An essential stop for anyone who cares about New Orleans culture, the future of Southern art, or just wants to enjoy a beautiful space that is welcoming to all.

We recently visited the gallery with friends, assuming it would just be a casual visit to see some local fine art. But when we walked in, we were immediately taken with how wonderfully curated the space was, thoughtfully featuring works from Andrew LaMar Hopkins and Adam Trest. The care and dedication Cayman puts into his gallery is palpable and his love for art is contagious. We came for the friendship, and left with a beautiful painting for our home. Long live the Marsh King; we will be back!

Orleans Gallery is an exciting new space in New Orleans that’s going to celebrate and introduce the art world to wonderful local and regional talents. I was lucky enough to grab a couple of pieces at their pop up during the Super Bowl (see pics) & a third piece from their big opening night in the new building (that one’s being shipped to me). Owner Cayman Clevenger has immersed himself in Louisiana art since childhood, and his love of the state & her artists truly shines through in the collection he’s curated for the gallery. What a lovely addition to the best city in the world!
