This hidden Gem in Bonaventure is absolutely worth the visit! The owner is so personable, knowledgeable and made me feel right at home. I went to one of their evening Drawing nights (sign up for their emails to find out about awesome events and author meet and greets) and we had so much fun! I felt like I was with a good group of tight friends all laughing and discussing books that we enjoyed. Thanks for making a book store that I feel a part of.

I love this tiny bookstore hidden away. I've been here a few times now taking different friends each time to enjoy it. The first book I got here was Distance, and the second was Kiss of A Basilisk. My friend even got the deluxe version of alchemised which she loved and is now waiting for the next book. Perfect place to also find those smaller titles as well, along with local authors. Which I love! Will be buying some local authors books next time when I'm in.

Naughty little book store tucked in an old mall. Large selection of adult books and cute knickknacks. They even have kindle charms.

I don’t think I’ve ever had more fun in a bookstore than when I do here. It’s exactly what I want for a bookstore: calm, cute, cozy, and kind! It’s so enjoyable. And the staff? One of my favourite parts! I had a whole conversation about a video game series that the employee and I both liked, and it was just a wonderful experience. I love not feeling judged for enjoying cheesy romance novels. Everyone is here for the exact same reason, so the inclusivity feels genuine! Also, every time I’m here, they have candles with the BEST names!

Forbidden Library is a small but powerful bookstore that proves size doesn’t limit impact. The owner-operated touch makes all the difference, giving my visit a personal, curated feel. Its handpicked selection feels intentional and inspiring, while the dark yet open ambiance creates a unique mood. Warm, welcoming service completes the experience. I would highly recommend and will definitely return.
