Forma Gym San Jose - Personal Training & Fitness Classes

I appreciate a recent help from Andrei at Forma Gym San Jose in signing up a one month membership for my son. Due to a typo mistake in my son’s email address, he could not receive the Gym’s notification to download the Gym app. Andrei was so patient, he identified the issue and resolved the problem. My husband and I have been members of the Gym for many years except during the covid-19 period. We truly love the Gym, it has all equipment needed for, good management, the outdoor swimming pool is nice. All staffs in the Gym are very friendly and helpful.

I couldn’t be happier with this gym. It’s super clean, great price and, although it’s not very large, it has everything you need. It's never crowded, not even during peak hours. I really value that it has weight equipment and cardio machines outdoors, and the indoor space has plenty of natural light, so it doesn’t feel like a dark, cave-like gym. Another thing I appreciate is the atmosphere: people come to work out, mind their own business, and there’s no posing or show-off culture at all. The pool is spotless and feels like a luxury, most of the time you don’t even have to share a lane. Great gym.

WOW! This place is AMAZING! I was a member of 24Fitness and it was nasty. This place is so immaculately clean. The entire staff have been so welcoming. I am recovering from injuries and this place is not a gym, it is a wellness center. I am overwhelmed by the professionalism, care, patience, knowledge, and genuine kindness of everyone. Thank you Forma! I found my new place to recover and maintain! Showers of BLESSING!

I’m not someone who usually leaves reviews for gyms, but here I am. There are a few things I wanted to mention for anyone considering this place, as well as for the managers of the establishment. The gym itself is pretty small compared to others. The lack of machines and attachments is very frustrating when you’re trying to focus on a specific muscle group. The selection is very lackluster. Not to mention, there’s the constant staring from some older men—directed at younger boys and girls—which is extremely uncomfortable. I’ve seen it happen multiple times. I also want to add that the trainers should not be stationed at the front desk. They show little to no customer service and often hold conversations in the middle of the hallway. One person in particular—Coach A***—has stood out in a negative way. I can count multiple times where I’ve seen my kid be completely disregarded, disrespected, or ignored. She seems to have an attitude problem, and it’s directed at certain people. Again, not everyone who works or works out there is bad, but I highly recommend considering other places (like Court Side).

I absolutely love being a member at Forma Gym! From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome and supported. The equipment is top-notch and always well maintained, and the variety of classes keeps workouts fun and challenging. The trainers are knowledgeable and genuinely care about your progress—they go the extra mile to help you reach your goals. The community here is friendly, motivating, and it feels like everyone’s cheering each other on. On top of that, the gym is spotless, and the amenities (like the pool and hot tub) make it a place I actually look forward to coming to every day. Joining Forma has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and well-being!
