Absolute Scam — Avoid Fort Worth CDL School at All Costs If I could give zero stars, I would. Fort Worth CDL School is hands down one of the most disorganized, unprofessional, and misleading operations I’ve ever encountered. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re met with broken promises, outdated equipment, and a staff that clearly doesn’t care whether you pass, fail, or even understand the basics of commercial driving. Let’s start with the instructors — or should I say barely-trained babysitters. Most of them show up late, if at all, and when they do decide to grace you with their presence, they spend more time on their phones than actually teaching. Their “instruction” is often vague, inconsistent, and downright confusing. Don’t expect any structured curriculum or real feedback — just chaos, yelling, and being thrown behind the wheel with zero preparation. The trucks? Absolute death traps. Bald tires, broken gauges, and half the lights don’t work. Good luck trying to learn pre-trip inspections on a vehicle that wouldn’t even pass one. It’s a miracle if you get more than 10 minutes of drive time per session, and when you do, you’re crammed into a truck with 3-4 other students, wasting hours just sitting around. And don’t even get me started on the office staff. Rude, dismissive, and completely unreachable when you need anything. They dodge calls, lose paperwork, and act like you’re an inconvenience for expecting them to do their jobs. Good luck. Scheduling concerns? You’ll get told to “just wait.” It’s a bureaucratic circus with zero accountability. They talk a big game about job placement and success stories, but it’s all smoke and mirrors. Most students leave unprepared, unlicensed. If you want real training, go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Fort Worth CDL School is a waste of time and patience. Run — don’t walk — in the opposite direction.
*My journey towards obtaining a CDL began with Fort Worth CDL School and Raider Express in December 2023, and it has been nothing short of exceptional. After exploring various options, I chose Fort Worth CDL School due to their promising program, and I'm glad to say it exceeded all expectations. The program stands out for its zero-cost enrollment, making it accessible for anyone ready to commit to a life-changing decision. From the outset, the atmosphere was supportive and geared towards success. The classroom instruction, spearheaded by Bill, was thorough and engaging. Within just three days, I was well-prepared to pass my CLP exam at the DMV, thanks to his dedication. The hands-on training phase with Vernon was equally remarkable. Over three intensive weeks, he meticulously prepared me for the driving exam. His commitment and expertise were evident throughout, ensuring I was not just competent but confident behind the wheel. Moving into the OTR training phase, Tyler proved to be an invaluable mentor. Even after training, he remains a supportive figure, always available to address any queries that arise while on the road. This ongoing mentorship speaks volumes about the dedication of Fort Worth CDL School's /Raider Express instructors. Beyond the training, the support system at Fort Worth CDL School/Raider Express is exceptional. Tana, my Driver Manager, and the entire support staff treat each driver with genuine care and respect. Unlike some places where you might feel like just another number, here, you are recognized and supported as an individual striving towards a successful career. Overall, Fort Worth CDL School with Raider Express is more than just a training program; it's a launchpad for a fulfilling career in the trucking industry. With paid training, flexible working hours, and a commitment to your success, this institution truly stands out. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to embark on a career as a professional truck driver.

After 20 years working in car audio industry I was tired and I had no motivation to keep going so I decided to start a new career as truck driver so I started doing some online research about cdl schools. , after comparing different companies, reviews, opinions and trying to figure out what was true and what wasn’t in the reviews I decided to apply for Fort Worth cdl school and so far I think I made the best decision. I started the school in January 2023 and I honestly enjoyed learning how to drive a truck, I also made new friends, instructors are awesome and they know what they’re doing. For the 4 weeks at school I got paid $600 then after I got my cdl I started my training for 4 weeks as well and every week the company pays minimum $800. My trainer was Stephen, I learned a lot from him, the first 2 weeks I felt overwhelmed but once I got used with paperwork, how to use the ELD etc everything was fine Now in April 2023 it’s over a month I’m on my own I do 2 weeks otr and a couple of days at home but they can help you with your time off if you need differently, my driver manager is Lindsey, she’s awesome and really helpful! In conclusion I think I got lucky choosing this company to start this career, no touch freight, good miles and good pay even for a rookie, this is a really good company
