2/3 entrees ordered mushrooms were a big part of the recipe. None had mushrooms. Wasn’t told before hand the kitchen is out. Wouldn’t have ordered either dish if I had known. Other than that it was nice

So good! Wine, food, staff, everything. Highly recommend! Most of the wine is sweet and fruity. There are a few that lean to the dry side, but if Sweet is not your jam, this might not be for you. We had several flights and tried many. They were all good with the pomegranate red being my favorite and the dragonfruit being a close second.

Where to begin? I moved to Fountain about 6 or so months ago and this place has become a stable in my dinner plans. I eat here at least once every two weeks (sometimes every week) and we’ve yet to have a bad meal. We’ve tried a lot of the specials and regular lunch/dinner options. My favorite was the pork chop dinner special (please bring this one back!) , my mom’s was the Poulette, my cousins was the Stroganoff, my sister in laws was the Alfredo, my dad’s was the spaghetti & meatballs.. I could literally go on! It is a little on the pricey side, but it’s worth it!

We decided to try Fountain Creek Winery for a last minute date night dinner based on reviews and were very disappointed by our meal. We had the featured meal which was considered surf and turf that was a 6 or 8 oz sirloin, I can’t remember size, 3 shrimp, green beans, and mashed potatoes. Let me start by saying, the green beans were from a can and mush or just poorly cooked and doctored up with garlic to look like more than they were, pretty sure the potatoes were instant because they sure smelled like they came from a box and so thick they were like mortar, and sirloin lacked any flavor. Shrimp were like rubber and not sure if they were boiled, steamed, etc. Each plate was a $44 waste. Total bill with tip was $175, go to Cowboy Star next time! No, we didn’t drink, only had a $12 flight and 2 apps, water, and a Coke. The apps were nothing to rave about!
