Buzzy cafe in Surry Hills. Very friendly staff who are very attentive. Good food selection & coffee ok. Quite noisy acoustics inside but nice area outside to dine. Very busy and well supported by the locals. Dishes tried were the Miso Mushrooms & Chorizo Scrambled Eggs. Quite big intense flavours for breakfast.

Highly recommend this outstanding little spot in Surry Hills for a quick brunch/lunch. Perfect coffee, and a really varied menu with plenty of choice - I chose the Chorizo Menemen (Turkish Eggs) and it was amazing!

Really great menu, service & location! Had the shakshuka which was amazing on its own, and the pita leveled it up - very fluffy. Had a delicious freshly squeezed orange, pineapple, ginger juice as well.

Had brunch at Four Ate Five and it was fantastic! The smoothie was fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced — not too sweet, just the right kick to start the day. The shakshuka was rich and flavourful. The atmosphere is warm and bustling, service is friendly.

Had brunch at Four Ate Five in Surry Hills — the food was definitely tasty, beautifully presented, and the ingredients felt fresh. However, the portion sizes were quite small for the price. While the quality is there, it’s a bit hard to justify the cost when you leave still feeling a little hungry. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff were friendly, but overall it felt a bit overpriced for what you get. Probably worth it for a treat or a casual coffee, but not an everyday spot.
