High technical proficiency, but poor warranty policy in the event the device fails after repairs. The technicians here are 5-star—they are fast, proficient, and turned around a warranty fix in less than a day. However, my experience with the store's management and fee structure was disappointing. I brought my phone in to replace a cracked screen, fully functional (cracked but usable). The repair was done within a few hours. However, within 20 minutes of picking it up, the replacement part failed under thermal load (charging), resulting in a total hardware failure (Symptom T031/White Screen) that rendered the phone inoperable. The replacement part failure was covered under their warranty. However, the additional repair required ordering a new part, and the store would only cover standard shipping for the part. They do not offer loaner phones as part of the warranty coverage. As a result, I ended up paying extra for expedited shipping, otherwise I would have had to go without a phone for several days while waiting for the part to arrive under standard shipping. While I appreciate the warranty service, as well as the kindness of the staff, who told me they advocated for me not having to pay extra for expedited shipping, I was disappointed to have to pay more. Those who choose to take their device here for repairs should be aware that, in the event of a device failure after the repairs are made, the warranty policy means that the customer may have to choose between paying extra or going several days without their device.
