This might be the best money spent for your wedding. When I tell you I had two left feet, I am not exaggerating. I was always the guy who would stand around at weddings or clubs when everyone else danced. I knew I had no moves and was sure everyone would laugh at me…so I “played it cool” and would just lean against a wall or something acting nonchalant while secretly wishing I could move my feet. The dance instructors at Fred Astaire Hoboken fixed me. We chose a 16 private lesson package and started about 6 months before our wedding. Ty, Alex and Anastasija truly helped me find the confidence to move to the music. Ty was our main instructor for our dance and poured his heart and soul into the choreography, structure and balance of our performance. Watching him problem solve in real time was truly impressive, we used a song that my wife and I thought might be hard to dance to and he effortlessly came up with a flow for it. Even when we struggled with certain movements, he would simply re-structure that section of the routine in a way that flowed beautifully and kept us confident. Without Ty’s guidance we wouldn’t have had much of a first dance at all and the memory wouldn’t be half as special. By the time the performance came we were totally prepared and it knocked everyone’s socks off. We got more compliments on our dance than anything with almost every guest asking how we learned to do that. We even had friends panic-buy last-minute dance lessons after seeing it because their own wedding was in a few months and they wanted that same special experience. Alex and Anastasija also helped us with general dance patterns and combinations for the reception so we also knew how to move and dance to other music in a a social setting as well. All the instructors were incredibly knowledgeable, kind and helpful and made this experience so incredibly worth it. I’m no longer the guy standing in the corner at weddings and clubs. Im on that dance floor with confidence, ripping it up with everyone and I wouldn’t be here without these beautiful people at FADS Hoboken. Seriously, buy the dance lessons. You will NOT regret it.

Fred Astaire Hoboken is awesome! My fiance and I Have been taking lessons here for a few months now and feel very confident and excited for our first dance next month. All of the instructors are so kind and welcoming. Alex has Taught us so much and always keeps it light and funny. The studio is also very welcoming and it’s very much a judgment free establishment. We’re so happy we decided to Take dance lesson lessons here and feel grateful for the experience. We’ve learned dance moves that we will be able to use On our wedding day and way beyond as we dance through life! 🤩
