My family has had the pleasure of attending tonal music school for the last few years. We first started with my son's guitar lessons and more recently with my daughter's piano lessons; both elementary school aged. While Tonal has the many benefits and offerings of a large music school, their staff maintains a smaller close-knit personal feel with the families they work with. Our kids have the great privilege of taking lessons from Matt (guitar) and Siwon (piano). The teachers are caring and make music fun and engaging for the kids; they really build great relationships with their students and are so encouraging. When starting out, they also make sure that the teachers are the right fit for the students, which is so important for the learning process. Tonal offers opportunities to participate in recitals in the spring and winter semesters and it's so great to see all the kids showcase their skills and hard work. Jeannette, their comms director, is also super responsive and easy to work with when organizing schedules and make ups. Our experience at Tonal has been fantastic and I highly recommend the program!

Tonal Art is a great music school staffed with friendly and competent teachers. I have been taking piano lessons with HyeSeon for the past five years. I like how she adapts to my interests and pushes me just enough to make progress while not putting unnecessary pressure.

I booked a free trial. It is only 15 min, shorter than a regular trial (30 min). I am disappointed that they did not even schedule meeting with my teacher, and they collected personal information and payment method in order to book a trial. Very unhappy experience.

My daughter takes voice lessons from Ms. LaFram. Great place to learn instruments. The entrance is thru the rectory. There is no clear sign and you may have to ask around at the church.

Tonal Art Music Center is a fantastic place to learn. As an adult student, I was nervous to start learning piano, but Hyeseon has made the entire experience an absolute pleasure. Our lessons are equally fun and focused. She challenges me to think more deeply about the music I am playing from how and why certain techniques work better in a certain piece to tapping into my own musicality. Highly recommend!
