I found myself with some hip trouble heading into a marathon training block, and am so happy to have worked with everyone at Free Body. I worked primarily with Michal, as well as with Katie and Tyler, and everyone was wonderful to work with. Not only have I seen great improvement since the injury, but they always made sure to explain why we were doing what we were doing, which has given me a deeper understanding of how parts of my body work when running. Big thanks to everyone at Free Body!

This is a terrific PT office. I worked for well over a year with Marissa, who is the best PT I've ever worked with, on my post-surgery knee injury rehab. She knows her stuff very well and is passionate about her work. Unlike many people I've worked with, she takes an evidence-based approach, instead of giving you the cookie-cutter rehab programs that are so common from the big-box PT conglomerates that dot the streets of Chicago. She's also excellent at helping you understand what are the most effective rehab exercises for whatever problem you have. My progress (and overall health and fitness) dramatically improved once I jumped ship from a chain PT office to Marissa, and she is the reason why. More generally, FreeBody's PT model is just better than others'. FreeBody is one of the few PT offices in Chicago that still has 1-on-1 appointments. At other places you'll be lucky to get 15 minutes of individualized attention from your PT during an appointment, as your PT watches over at least two other patients at the same time and barely has time to answer your questions let alone create a personalized treatment program. At FreeBody it's the precise opposite, and that's why outcomes are better here than at other places.

My daughter is an athlete in high school and got injured playing sports. An athletic trainer recommended Free Body for physical therapy, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The PTs at Free Body are so knowledgeable and make each appointment count. They provide individualized guidance and support for the full length of every appointment, along with a tailored home exercise plan to use in between sessions. My daughter has worked primarily with Marc and Michal, and they are fantastic.
