Our initial appointment had to be rearranged as the wet and dry vacuum had broken down. Rearranged for 2 days later and very accommodating to our needs. Ryan was extremely polite and couldn’t do enough to please. The quality of work and attention to detail was exceptional. Neighbours were asking if we’d had a new car as it was showroom shiny!! The inside had had a bit of punishment from 2 granddaughters and our dog and he blitzed it so it was spotless. Sanitised all the air vents. All in all an exceptional job and would have no hesitation in recommending the company. Well worth the £85!

Had my car valeted by Daniel and he provided a fantastic service from start to finish! Turned up on time, polite, friendly and professional. It was chucking it down with rain which can't have been pleasant but I came back to a spotless car that had been properly cleaned. First time using this company and was really impressed so will definitely look to use again, thank you!

I was a little underwhelmed by my experience with this valet service. £85 to be told I’ve only had time to do the inside, I won’t be able to clean the outside today. In the end he did a reasonable but not spectacular job. Lots of side pockets left uncleaned, I had to remove the rubbish that was left in these. Missed grubby areas on the inside. The exterior was rushed in the last 15 minutes at the end of the 2 hr time slot given. The top of the van was largely uncleaned. I wasn’t expecting miracles but A bit disappointed for the money spent.

I recently booked Fresh Car’s Signature Valet in Cardiff for my small city car. At £165 for up to 4 hours of work, it sounded like a premium service — but unfortunately, the results were really disappointing. The interior windows were covered in smears, the dashboard, mirrors, and vents were still dusty, and there were visible soda stains left on the leather seats. My car isn’t new, so I wasn’t expecting miracles — but I did expect it to be properly clean. No smears, no dust, no obvious removable marks. That’s the basic standard, and it wasn’t met. The valeter, Rhys, only spent around three hours on the job, despite the service allowing up to 4 hours. At the time I didn’t think much of it, but given the missed areas, it felt rushed in hindsight. I emailed Fresh Car straight away with photos. Their initial response was just to say that, as a franchise, it’s up to the individual valeter to respond — which didn’t inspire much confidence. Eventually, someone agreed the job wasn’t up to standard, but it still took four working days (and a follow-up from me) to arrange a resolution. Daniel, who came to fix the issues, was polite and addressed everything I’d listed. But since it had been two weeks, I’d hoped for a quick once-over too — instead, he stuck strictly to the complaint, which is fair, but it did feel like a box-ticking exercise rather than real customer care. Colleagues who saw the state of the car after the first clean couldn’t believe I’d paid £165. I’ve now moved to a local garage that charges a third of the price and does a far better job. Fresh Car works through a franchise model, so experiences will vary. But based on mine, I can’t recommend them. I’d downloaded the app and was considering their monthly plan — but I’ve deleted it now and won’t be booking again.
